AAA 11/13 results

I’m amazed by the promptness; this was actually up last night.

AAA TV (MON) 11/13 Plaza de Toros de Irapuato, Guanajuato Results [aaa]
1) Aero Star, Marco Rivera b Black Fenix, Toxico
2) Gran Apache, Mini Charly Manson, Polvo de Estrellas, Rossy Moreno b Billy Boy, Fabi Apache, Mascarita Divina, Pimpinela Escarlata
3) Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Juventued Guerrera, Psicosis II b Chessman, Cuervo, Espiritu, Ozz
4) Alan Stone, Zumbido b El Elegido, Intocable [AAA TAG, Block C]
5) el Angel, Laredo Kid b Antifaz, Histeria [AAA TAG, Block C]
6) Scorpio Jr. b Brazo de Plata
7) Gronda II, La Parka Jr., Octagon DQ Elix Skipper, Head Hunter I, Konnan

Notes:
– the report mentions it was raining and cold all night; Plaza de Toros means “outdoor show”, so who knows how the in-ring will look.
– Apache beat Billy Boy with a top rope powerbomb, then stole his grandson from Fabi and Billy and took off in the nights for parts unknown
– Cibernetico appeared before the Mexican Powers/Dark Family match, and convinced Chessman to leave and help him start a new faction. Espiritu took his place, and the title match is still on for the next taping (though will Chessman be there then?)
– Scorpio Jr. vs Brazo de Plata was listed as a tag match with Chris Stone & Brazo de Plata Jr., but they were just seconds instead. Scorpio got away with a low blow for the win.
– Gronda replaced Zorro, Head Hunter I replaced Muerte Cibernetico, and Elix Skipper was the TNA surprise of the night – no explanation for the replacements. Konnan yanked Octagon’s mask for the loss.

Next taping is 11/18.

A new El Halcon went up yesterday, and it includes an interview with Joaquin Roldan, Antonio Pena’s brother in law and the person who’s publicly referred to as now in charge of the company. There’s not a lot of news in it, still just talking about continuing Pena’s work, but Roldan does say (if I’ve translated correctly) AAA plans to do fifty shows outside of Mexico in the next year, with the US and Central America mentioned as always.

  1. I tried to follow the link from before to the AAA round robin standings you had…but it says the file’s gone. What’s up with that?

  2. It didn’t get restored with the rest of the stuff. It’ll probably be back this weekend, and I’m going to mirror it over on luchawiki.
