Ninja Jr., Ultimo Guerrero & Dragon Rojo, one armed Drago

LyC (SUN) 11/20/2011 Arena Coliseo Monterrey [RFC, Telediario]
1) Xtreme Boy b Black Silver
2) Chamaco Gurrola b Cyber Payaso, Drako
3) Ninja Jr. b Simbolo, Big Neurosis, Rico Rodriguez, Epidemius, Artillero, Principe Guerrero II, Gemelo Muerte I, Gemelo Muerte II, Rey Orion, Rey Demonio Jr., Exterminio, Core, Gato Fantasma, Golden Boy, Black Poison, Dralion, Silencio, Rey Imagen, Rey Dragon, Máscara Púrpura, Hijo Del Mongol Chino, Scravos, Genocida, Kratos, Maravilla Azteca Jr., Rosa Salvaje, Gardenia Azteca, Drako, Demencia
El Ninja Jr. drew 30 (last) in their Royal Rumble, clotheslined the two people left in the match (Simbolo and Rodriguez) out of the ring and won the title shot – against his brother, Hijo del Ninja. Hijo del Ninja promptly turned on him.

I might have spent an hour setting up the database to declare everyone’s alignment in the rumble. You’re on your own for the undercard.

Ultimo Guerrero & Dragon Rojo kept the tag titles in Puebla last night, defeating Shocker & Mascara Dorada. That’s defense #8 for the champs. They said early on that they’d like to beat Rey Bucanero & UG’s title record, and are now about half way there by the luchawiki count.

Drago, who’s had an arm injury so horrible I didn’t want to gif it and is supposed to be out for months, wrestled Friday in Tijuana (and won!). It looked like his arm just dislocated at his elbow, so maybe you could just put on a brace and work thru it? I would not do that but I am definitely no dragon luchador. Drago also might have wrestled at Arena San Juan Pantitlan this weekend, and appears to be the same guy under the mask.

Rob has highlights of 03/26 & 04/03/94 AAA

Lineups

CMLL (SUN) 11/27/2011 Arena Coliseo
1) Höruz & Leono vs Apocalipsis & Bronco
2) Hombre Bala Jr., Starman, Super Halcon Jr. vs Bobby Zavala, Rayo Tapatío I, Rayo Tapatío II
3) Black Warrior, Hijo del Fantasma, Toscano vs Hijo del Signo, Misterioso Jr., Vangelis
4) Shocker, Titan, Triton vs Atlantis, Guerrero Maya Jr., Sagrado
5) La Máscara, Rush, Super Porky vs Ephesto, Mephisto, Volador Jr.

Delta must be otherwise occupied. Instead, Titan & Triton face the guy who they debuted with under previous names, Sagrado.

Looks like the Gen11 vs Tapatio feud has picked up again, though it’s now strictly rudo vs tecnico.

CMLL (SUN) 11/27/2011 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Eros vs Templario
2) El Divino vs Acertijo
3) Leo & Metatrón vs Malefico & Ráfaga
4) Black Metal vs Rey Trueno [lightning]
5) Ángel de Oro, Gallo, Magnum vs Mr. Trueno, Shigeo Okumura, Yoshihashi
6) Máscara Dorada vs Dragón Rojo Jr.

Mascara Dorada vs Dragon Rojo always seem to face each other in bursts. Dorada is 5-1.

Prior to July 2009 (read: under previous management), Tuesday Guadalajara shows had a lot of singles matches. This might be the first appreciable change.

LyC (SUN) 11/27/2011 Arena Coliseo Monterrey
3) Big Neurosis vs Genocida [LyC HEAVY]
4) Dralion, Gato Fantasma, Silencio vs Gemelo Muerte I, Gemelo Muerte II, Misionero [LyC TRIOS]
5) Hijo del Ninja vs Ninja Jr., Simbolo, Rico Rodriguez [LyC CHAMP]

Simbolo & Rico, the last two out who hit the floor at the same time, somehow talked their way back in to the main event.

CMLL (SUN) 11/27/2011 Arena Coliseo
1) Höruz & Leono vs Apocalipsis & Bronco
2) Hombre Bala Jr., Starman, Super Halcon Jr. vs Bobby Zavala, Rayo Tapatío I, Rayo Tapatío II

There should’ve been some but about Sagrado teaming with those guys when they debuted here the first time, but it’s long gone. I’ll pick it up next time.
