Box Y Lucha has posted some new articles:
– Vampiro told the magazine that he plans to retire from the ring within a year; he’s going to have a retirement tour and then move into a backstage role. He’s still involved Wrestle Society X project with MTV, and is hoping to talk them into shooting some episodes from Mexico, since they’ve doing stuff in Cancun before. He’s got his movies and CD projects going as well.
– Rambo talks about various people he teamed with
– Lizmark Jr. talks about his 28 tattoos
– Preview of La Parka Jr. vs Muerte Cibernetica
Emilio Charles Jr. is replacing Okumura in IWRG’s 8 way cage match on Sunday, freeing up Okumura to lose in CMLL’s 8 way cage match.
you might have heard: Nacho Libre is in movie theatres today.
At times hilarious, but other times offensive, Director Jared Hess is unable to recapture the collective charisma of his Napoleon characters, instead relying on a one-joke concept that runs out of steam. Sure to entertain the adolescents, however.
– Rotten Tomato’s consensus, which fits with the reviews I’ve read.
Personally, I’m just thrilled we’ve peaked in Nacho Libre articles at this point, because I’m so ready to move on to anything else. I’ve completely lost track of which stories I’ve already posted – did I post this Austin one yet? are you happy I’m skipping the college newspapers accusing the movie of racism? – and I’m pretty sure I don’t need or want to read any more. (One more spanish story on Fray Tormenta, while we’re at it.)
Now that I think about it, I have no idea when I’m going to see this. Might be a while. The reviews aren’t making it priority.

Just saw Nacho Libre today, and I wish I had known it was a Nickelodeon Films production (Nick Films=fart jokes). Combine that with Hess’ geeky direction and you have a very silly movie.
All Silver King’s horses and all Silver King’s men couldn’t save this movie from being little more than amusing. Oh well, at least it gave lucha libre some (silly) exposure.
