Comando Negro wins with his help from his chicken friend

IWRG (SUN) 03/20/2011 Arena Naucalpan [Estrellas del Ring, Record, Black Terry Jr. (flickr)]
1) Alan Extreme b Tonatiuh
Alan Extreme replaced Keshin Black.
2) Carta Brava Jr., El Pollo Asesino, Fresero Jr. b Dinamic Black, Eterno, Golden Magic
Dinamic Black replaced Jack, Pollo Asesino & Fresero Jr. replaced Epidemia and Imposible.
3) Carta Brava Jr., Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Magnifico b Alan Extreme, Fantasma Jr., Veneno
Carta Brava filled in for Hijo de Mascara, Hijo de Pirata instead of Hammer, Alan Extreme instead of Cometa de Fuego, which was originally Dinamic Black’s spot.
4) Trauma I b Hijo de LA Park [#1 Contenders, Junior de Juniors]
Originally scheduled Trauma I as Hijo de Pirata defending against Trauma, turned out to be Trauma winning a #1 contenders match over Hijo de LA Park to get that title match next week. Hijo del Pirata got involved, feuding with Trauma but accidentally hitting Hijo de LA Park with a chair before the finish.
5) Comando Negro b Multifacético [IWRG IC Light]
Eterno seconded Multifactico, Comando Negro had Pollo Asesino, who’d he unmasked 3 months ago. Pollo used a ref distraction to foul Multifacetico in the the third, giving Comando Negro another win. Tecnicos beat up rudos after the match, Pollo unmasking Multifacetico.

Black Terry Jr. has video of the main event: fall 1, fall 2, fall 3.

CMLL (SUN) 03/20/2011 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Leo b El Divino
2) Bengala & Höruz b Artillero & Súper Comando
3) Metálico & Starman b Mr. Trueno & Rey Trueno
Truenos want a rematch.
4) Pequeño Olímpico b Virgo [CMLL MINI]
Moment of applause for Fabian before the match. Clean win for the champion.
5) Averno, Dragón Rojo Jr., Mephisto b La Sombra, Máximo, Valiente
Rudos won the first, tecnicos took the second, Averno beat Sombra (with a bit of cheating.)

Black Terry Jr. also has pictures from Coliseo Coalaco and some video. Segunda Caida already has a review of that Black Terry match. Nikita has a review of last week’s version of that match, in Arena Azteca.

Box Y Lucha #3018 has Dos Leyendas and Fabian el Gitano on the cover. Not an AAA article to be seen. The Black Warrior article’s quote is “This is my last chance, and I have to make it.” I like that attitude, but Mr. Niebla seems to prove some guys have a lot more chances.

AAA tapes tonight in Leon. The tag titles are on the line with the Maniacos defending against Extreme Tiger & Jack Evans. The Maniacos have been so busy getting involved with Electroshock and Heavy Metal’s matches, it might be time for some payback. Also, someone remembered to book the Air Force feud.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

Lineups

Valiente defends his Mexican Welterweight Championship vs Dragon Rojo tonight in Mazatlan.

CMLL (SUN) 03/27/2011 Arena Coliseo
1) Höruz & Robin vs Artillero & Súper Comando
2) Bobby Zavala, Hijo del Signo, Hombre Bala Jr. vs Inquisidor, Mortiz, Rayo Tapatío I
3) Ángel de Oro, Ángel de Plata, Delta vs Cancerbero, Euforia, Raziel
4) Rush, Toscano, Valiente vs Mephisto, Misterioso Jr., Rey Bucanero
5) La Máscara, La Sombra, Super Porky vs Atlantis, Negro Casas, Volador Jr

Gen11 vs Vets continue to battle in the second match. I wonder if they’ll omit a match from yesterday’s show to keep the feud on 52MX (it’s bumped off TV by the Kami-Robo match, which I’d like to see too.) Tercera could be pretty fun.
