It’s not a specific event, but the general story is AAA shut down the last two weeks (today’s Christmas party beside) and CMLL kept running shows, and even shows with significant events. Or maybe that should be “CMLL *had* to keep running shows.”

CMLL 2.6
AAA 3.3
Had dinner at Cascabel Taqueria. Very few Lucha masks on hand. Mostly paintings of generic masks and some 6 inch dolls painted as generics as well. Some were very creative while others are clearly inspired by famous masks like Mil Mascaras and Mascara Sagrada.
It’s a very trendy hipster crowd, which is to be expected on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
Anyone know of any other Lucha themed restaurants in Manhattan or nearby?
Only one more week of ratings, right?
Went to lunch at a random Baja-Fresh style place called La Salsa- it’s a chain, but I don’t know how big the chain is.
Soon as I walked in, I was happy.
THEY HAD ORANGE BANG ON TAP
THEY HAVE A HUGE SIGN WITH A LUCHA LIBRE DUDE ON IT(looks like they made their own mask for the photo, I didn’t recognize it)
Did that Sombra/Volador match ever pop up anywhere on youtube or anything?
