Star Jr. versus Virus was easily the best match on the show and the only one worth watching – until they cut out before the finish. No idea if CMLL will post the complete version at some point.
Valiente & Gran Guerrero seems like a short feud building off Valiente coming back from brief injury.

It didn’t click as an all rudo win show until I saw it together.
This is week two for the main event feud, week three is usually the singles match, but they talked about a rematch again. It’s possible things are being dragged out for the Homenaje a Dos Leyenda shows.
There are some slight changes to Sunday’s Arena Mexico show. Rey Cometa, Stigma, and Soberano are off, with Retro, Sangre Imperial and Diamante Azul in.
CMLL has a video with Mystique explaining a 2×1 ticket deal for women during the month of March. The deal applies on Sundays only in certain areas. The takeaway from me is CMLL’s either hired someone to produce videos or given someone more of a focus on them because there’s suddenly a lot of video content being produced.
KeMonito’s birthday is said to be today, but CMLL has mentioned it in July previously. The confusion fits in with the current moment, where KeMonito has become a popular meme in social media in Mexico. He’s been inserted in very improbable situations, like works of art and album cover images. Nothing more improbable than having two birthdays.
AAA’s 1st press conference to announce TripleMania will be a week from today. The poster lists the show as August 22nd in Arena Ciudad de Mexico, as previously reported. Not sure if there will be a lot more than that. I don’t expect a match announcement this early, but maybe something more along the lines of Azteca talking about their plans airing the show.
AAA posted a Laredo Kid promo building up his title match with Kenny Omega for Rey de Reyes. It’s good one of these exist. There’s a slight chance Kenny Omega has a broken hand coming out of AEW’s PPV this weekend, which would put off that match.
Tiago, on his Facebook page, says he hasn’t been paid by Tijuana promotion The King Promotions for their November 29, 2019 show and advises everyone to not work for them.
Dulce Paola held a press conference a few days ago to complain about the promoters of Arena Coliseo Laguna did not have the required and necessary medial personal to deal with a shoulder injury he suffered. He also said they haven’t supported him after. The promoter, the doctor on hand and other wrestlers on that show held a counter-press conference yesterday. The doctor said he examined Paola immediately after the injury and Paola simply needed rest. One of the promoters, Magda Tovar, says a representative of Paola contacted them a few days later, demanding a high amount for medical care for a scan of the shoulder which didn’t seem warranted by the diagnosis. It reads as if they’re willing to pay, but they’d like to talk to Paola and see the documentation of the work which was being done. Paola held a press conference but won’t return phone calls; the promoter went as far as going to Paola’s house to try and talk it over. The promotion’s concern is Paola is also a local political leader and could try to shut down their arena.
Saturday’s AAA Twitch show will have a local match of Joker (Cancun version), Angelus, Super Kim vs Gladiador M., Pibe and Tigre Fly. This usually doesn’t air but last time from Cancun. Tigre Fly was in that match as well.
Saturday’s Mexa Wrestling debut in Monterrey has a few card changes. It’s still the same basic show with people moved around. Rey Horus was added to the main event for a three-way with Baby Xtreme & Mecha Wolf. Lady Flammer is off the show. Toxin is still listed on the show but I believe he mentioned he was out with an injury.
Flamita is off the 03/14 ROH PPV, with Rey Horus replacing him in teaming with Bandido against the Havana Pitbulls. ROH has not taken him off of the
