What happened:
Nothing storyline wise. A referee blew a finish, but that hardly even counts as news. The two fall rudo win in the main event was clean, Negro Casas defeating Angel de Oro in the end.
Disturbio kicks out at 2.9 or 3.0 after a Fuego springboard plancha. That move never finishes anyone, so it’s obviously a goof.
Thoughts:
There’s been worse shows, but little seemed worth writing about. The top matches were standard Tuesday fare. None of the early matches were particularly good. The lightning match seemed to have a little bit left to it, but Pompin and Disturbio conspired to end it early. You can’t cut it close with that referee, and Disturbio at least cut it close. Disturbio had some decent offense, though this didn’t feel like it would’ve been memorable even with the extra time. This is a show that seemed to just exist to suck up time I could be using on anything else.
