What happened:

Terrible fouled Negro Casas for no real reason in the main event.

Thoughts:

Templario has to armdrag himself

The main event was a nothing five-minute match where Mr. Niebla taking Valiente’s monkey flip was one of the few bumps. The crowd generally had a “that’s all?” feeling after the second fall, and rightfully so. There are matches which are much more of a disaster from a technical standpoint. This one felt like one from a value aspect.

Atlantis is a less mobile version of Octagon now. I may have to cut out writing about Atlantis matches entirely because the chances of them being any good with him being involved are low, and there’s nothing more to say about a cleared hobbled luchador who keeps having matches. Hechicero tried to do some small interesting stuff here in a wasted effort.

Villano III and Universo just standing in the ring and watching Kraneo run rump first into Perverso seems a bit mean for a teammate. The tercera gave you the usual slight glimmer that Black Panther might have something more to offer and not a lot more. Of the four spinning backbrackers Blue Panther Jr. did, only one time did his knee meet his opponents back.

The Costa Rica/Mexico match got a good reaction. The novelty of Mexico vs another country is still there, provided it doesn’t go too long. The Costa Ricans couldn’t go at the full speed of the Mexico tecnicos, which stood out a bit in the third fall (especially with Drone.) They were in the right places when they needed to be, they didn’t do much interesting on their own but then they didn’t limit Fuego and crew. It was very much the difference between wrestling all the time and once a month.
