What happened:

Cavernario fouled Volador for the DQ as part of the build to the hair match to be announced the next day.

Thoughts:

Oro Jr. and a good camera angle

The main event was the most enjoyable match of the night, the tecnicos getting the crowd to react well running their offense. It seemed like the usual formula might not work when the Chavez brothers were loudly booed on corner dropkicks. The crowd was more favorable to the showcases in the third fall. The DQ wasn’t great but they have headed there all match and it was leading to the next day’s announcement.

The end of the second fall was dismal, with Flyer’s timing off and Atlantis moving like a 70-year-old man. The rest is not as bad but not many highlights. Atlantis turning into a lesser version of La Parka is not really the way anyone wanted to see him go.

Guerrero Maya Jr. was one of the most creative CMLL luchadors. What happened in the lightning match was instead a pretty standard match of a few of his simpler high spots leading to taking Polvora’s finish. It was a simple match.

A match where everyone seemed to be in the right place but no one seemed all that excited about it. Dark Magic stuck out as so set in getting in the right spot (which he was as far as I could) that he was unaware an audience was watching. A lot going on.
