What happened:
Volador worked as rudo in the main event, though working may be too strong of a word.
The second fall of the semi-main was supposed to end in a DQ for sure but I have no idea what Bestia Negra disqualified Templario for. Maybe the chinlock he had on for about a second was an illegal choke? Meanwhile, the Ingobernables were lifting up full rows of chairs and throwing them at the Chavez boys. Angel de Oro went out on a stretcher after taking Bestia’s Buca Storm in the third fall, but it didn’t seem any more dangerous than usual.
Astro & Ares had problems with the final pin in the opener. Meyer was annoyed after he got his arm raised. I should keep track of how many people walk away from their match annoyed each week.
Thoughts:
The main event was carried by the novelty of Cavernario and Volador being on the wrong side, though they didn’t go too far with it. Volador seems to enjoys being a rudo still a lot more than a técnico, but he was not going anywhere close to full effort. Cavernario got to do some técnico things and argue with Dragon Lee before a double dive bit, but mostly was left on the apron arguing with Tirantes. This was fine but nowhere close to what the ceiling for this sort of match should be.
