I watched most of the top three matches on a stream. The main event didn’t really get going to a high level and it was clear a screwy finish was coming. It was unsatisfying. The semi-main was good in an exhibition-y way. They wanted a happy moment to come out of it and Garza winning in his farewell was their way of doing it. The fourth match was not long but was good fun while it lasted.
Garza did not wrestle on the Kaoz show tonight so this might be it for him in Mexico. I would expect WWE won’t announce new signings until after WrestleMania.
They announced Carlito/Mesias vs Angel de Oro/Niebla Roja vs Los Traumas and NGD vs Bestia, Garza MechaWolf, and TBA for the 04/13 show.

AAA posted a farewell message to Hijo del Fantasma on Friday, officially recognizing his departure from the company. Fantasma was interviewed on the most recent MMM Show and mentioned he brought up the idea of leaving AAA “a few weeks ago” and AAA was understanding. Fantasma felt like he was doing the same things over and over again in AAA and felt like it was time to go somewhere else for a fresh start. He wanted to leave on good terms with AAA, knowing that he might come back someday. (Though, the people who left on bad terms also seemed to come back.) Fantasma praised Konnan as helping get lucha libre over in the US twice and seemed like he’d happy to work with him elsewhere.
