Nothing happened (TM Rush)
Thoughts:
The main felt a little lifeless for the Tuesday happy main event, but it really picked up with the big spots in the third fall. Titan and Terrible did their usual back and forth, Místico and Mephisto looked great, Soberano got in a cool dive. There was nothing deep to this but at least it gave the fans something to go home with.
The ten minute time limit doesn’t really work with the kind of match Luciferno and Blue Panther want to do. A slow moving but still somewhat interesting mat section just ends because they’ve got to get to the best part. Panther then doesn’t get in any offense until it is time for a tope, gets beat up for a while longer, and then again comes back just to get in the tope. It has the weird twists of a Blue Panther match but feels disconnected from what happened prior and nothing feels fleshed out. It was different than getting the usual lightning match but I’m not sure it was really any better.
