2) Black Terry, Ironía, Máscara Año 2000 b Divo Jr., Jeque, Veneno
Ironia replaced Judas (moved up), Veneno & Divo Jr. replaced Solar I & Tony Rivera (who knows). Mascara got away with a foul on Veneno.
3) Judas el Traidor b Keyra
Judas replaced Estrellita (neck injuries suffered in car accident earlier this week)
4) Virus b Negro Casas
good match
5) Cuatrero, Forastero (NGD), Sansón b Belial, Dragón Bane, Impulso
Dragon Bane replaced Arez.
6) Hechicero b Ricky Marvin
Ricky Marvin replaced Shu el Guerrero (says he never agreed to a match.) Unclear what the original finish was, except the fans weren’t happy with or the referee. They asked for one more fall, and Marvin & Hechicero did one without a referee. Hechicero won, and a rematch was promised.
7) Aramis b Eterno [mask, hair]
Great match. Aramis took Eterno’s hair and saved his mask. Aramis praised his mentor/trainer after the match.

Really good turnout for the Coaclaco Anniversary show, even with a fair amount of changes. Main event sounds like it lived up to the high expectations, and the 4/5th matches seem like worth watching. The semi-main seems strange, and not clear if they meant to do a weird finish or something got messed up.

Shu el Guerrero said he never officially agreed to wrestle on this show. Estrellita posted her medical information on Twitter.

IWRG (SUN) 10/21/2018 Arena Naucalpan [+LuchaTV, The Gladiatores]
1) Ángel Estrella Jr. & Chef Benito b Giro Gallo & Guerrero 2000
2) Chicanito & Toto b Death Metal & Power Bull
3) Black Shadow II & Shaolin b Latino & Rasha-Ta
Latino replaced Diablo Jr.
4) Demonio Infernal b Dragón BaneMikeShil-KahLunatik Xtreme
Infernal challenged Bane to a title match.
5) Capo del Norte, Capo del Sur, Diablo Jr. DQ Aliado de Dios, Danny Casas, Metaleón
Diablo Jr. replaced Pitbull. Straight falls. No word on the DQ.
6) Hijo de Canis Lupus, Rayan, Spector b Hijo del Alebrije, Imposible, Relámpago
Canis Lupus said he’d shut up Alebrije in the Castillo del Terror.
7) Hechicero & Hijo De Dos Caras DQ Cuervo (Puerto Rico) & Hijo de Pirata Morgan
Cuervo used a light tube on Dos for the DQ. They have history from 2015 WWC.

I appreciate someone explained what the feud was supposed to be in the main event. I’m not sure a feud from Puetro Rico really means much but they tried.

The 11/01 IWRG Castillo del Terror cage match will have Relampago, Ludark, Shil-Kah, Hijo de Canis Lupus, Diosa Atenea, Mike, Aramis, Zumbi and two more. Ovaciones says there will be a Fantasma de la Opera versus Pasion Kristal, hair vs hair match. They’ll also be turning Arena Naucalpan into a sort of haunted house on 11/02 & 11/03.

Tonight’s CMLL main event in Puebla is almost the same one as last week. Los Guerreros face Caristico, Mistico, and Rush, who replaced Finlay from last week. That feels like they’re setting up a match, only there was no particular controversy to last week’s result.

CMLL does seem like they’re setting up a match in the semi-main, where Mephisto cheated Diamante Azul out of a win last week. They’re back this week, with the rest of the Hijos del Infierno, and Azul with Angel de Oro & Niebla Roja.

The fourth match has Titan returning from breaking his hand in his same arena teaming with Audaz, Triton versus Templario, Tiger and Virus. That could be great. The lightning match is Marcela versus Tiffany, which will likely not be great. There’s two 2v2 tag matches to open the show.

The stream starts at 9pm on CMLL’s YouTube channel.

David Finlay isn’t booked anywhere this week, so he must be done.

In an interview with the Mirror, Jeff Jarrett talked about his Wrestling Travel business, which is basically tour packages for international wrestling shows. They’re doing something like that for the NJPW 01/04 Tokyo Dome, and Jarrett suggests they’re working on the same idea for the AAA major shows and maybe a beach/resort show. Jeff Jarrett has a hair match with Dr. Wagner Jr. on Sunday – a real thing that is happening. That normally would be Jarrett losing his hair and being out of AAA, but it’s pretty clear he’s not leaving AAA any time soon. I do like the concept that AAA can’t find it’s way to English speaking fans but they’re going to try to convince English speaking fans to come to them.

There’s no Saturday Arena Coliseo show this week. This usually means a Televisa boxing event, but I can’t find one announced. The promotion that usually runs the building is in San Luis Potosi.

Volador & Soberano Jr. lost to BUSHI & Shingo Takagi in the Super Junior Tag League earlier today. That drops them to 1-3, making it almost impossible for them to finish in the top two of their group and advance.

Tzuki is currently in England, wrestling with other short wrestlers (when the shows aren’t canceled for being considered freak shows.)

Lineups

FILLM (SAT) 11/03/2018 Arena San Juan Pantitlan, Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, Estado de México
1) Mexica & Moria vs Fandango & Príncipe Cóndor
2) Alas de Oro, Alas De Plata, Tromba vs Fly Star, Sádico, Yoruba
3) Casandro & Flyer vs El Hijo del Medico Asesino & Magnus
4) Hijo del Fishman vs Wotan
5) Euforia & Gran Guerrero vs Drako & Fresero Jr. [super libre]
6) Último Guerrero vs Corsario Negro Jr. [hair]

Corsario Negro and Ultimo Guerrero have had issues on previous FILLM shows, setting this up. Finish doesn’t seem in doubt but it seems more interesting than the Diamante Azul match.

Casandro seems to rarely appear in Mexico City, rarely wrestling in general. I can’t find a match in Mexico State or Distrito Federal since 2013. I wonder if they’re screening her film that weekend or if there’s another reason to be in town beyond this match.
