What happened:

Microman won the first ever Micro cibernetico.

Thoughts:

Guapito headscissors

The main event saw Mistico get a showcase match in front of a crowd who was actually happy to see him, so that’s a difference from usual. The rest was unremarkable, the same as most of the matches on this show. This one went a little shorter than usual and didn’t do anything more than you’d expect for a Tuesday main event.

Semifinal wasn’t much. Titan looked like the best of those involved, but no one seemed that involved. The ending of the match – the rudos seemingly being pinned/submitted in The Star, but then the match continuing because they didn’t submit – was more memorable than most of the match

Microman did two moonsaults and reversed a cradle into a finishing submission, what more could you want out of life. The action was good and moved well, and the crowd was completely excited for Microman winning. We haven’t gotten to see a lot of Chamuel in CMLL. He turned out to be the best base in the bunch, working well with Microman but really working well with everyone they had work with. He’s the one best at taking headscissors for sure. This is easily worth the time.

we don’t even know the mat skills Microman has

The women’s match was not particularly worthwhile. It was a standard match to follow up an apuesta match without the stuff that made the apuesta match slightly interesting. The trios partners didn’t contribute much, and the only thing I got out of this was Princesa Sugehit now gets the entrance after Marcela and is effectively the #1 tecnica.

The second match guys got to do a little more than usual: getting to dives to set up the dives costing them the match is also a bit cruel. The rudos killed my interest with a long uninteresting first fall, but the crowd seemed to get back into it a bit with the latter action.

The opener was the same level of forgettable action that the minis division has been at for a while. Pequeño Violencia was better than usual here, which just meant he was having an OK match instead of being a candidate for one of the worst in the promotion.

  1. Anyone find it creepy they used little girls to dance around for the minis?
