Nothing much happening here with the anniversary show next week. Yago is promising a surprise for Copa Nuevo Valores. He is actually does surprises, so I’m hyped. Hijo del Signo wants to form a Misioneros de la Muerte. Angelito says he’s back from a surgery. I’m not sure of his injury.

6) Carístico, Dragón Lee, Volador Jr. b El Bandido, Hechicero, Xtreme Tiger Facebook video (posted by )
Caristico beat Hechicero with a La Caristica. Bandido asked for one more falls. Volador beat Bandido, and then Hechicero turned on his partners. That gave Boom a 4-2 win on the show.

Decently well attended show that I can’t think of anything to say about. Combining the two indie promotions didn’t suddenly produce magic, but they seemed to draw as well or better than th AAA show in Neza the same night, though maybe not as much as the Pura Raza in the same building. I’ve only got a few video links up there but I haven’t canvassed YouTube and I’m sure there’s many more to come.

tecnicos took 2/3.

Nothing much happening here because CMLL doesn’t try.

Kraneo would like you to know that he’s not fat, he’s full of love.

Lucha Libre Boom says they’ll return to Arena Naucalpan on 05/02 with a Caristico vs Penta 0M vs Fuerza Guerrera vs Octagon. That’s a four way, though obviously it’ll work out with two different singles matches going on around the same time.

Vampiro has progressed from saying the San Luis Potosi match was his last match, to saying the Monterrey match was his last match, to saying he’d like to have his last match be on Verano de Escandalo when they return to Monterrey, to maybe having his last match at TripleMania, to he’ll have his last match some point this year but he’s still got to talk to people about it. This is a long way of saying he’s wrestling on the Tijuana card later this month.

El Elegido is listed on the 04/28 The Crash show in Chiapas. You would think that would mean he’s not in AAA any more, though Blue Demon Jr. is listed on the same show. Elegido hasn’t been on TV much in the last few years, but he’s still used on spot shows a bit and has been working some indies matches. The Crash & Elegido seems a bad fit, but again they’re booking Blue Demon so it’s not a lot about fit.

Texano calls winning the tag team championship his rehabilitation from losing his hair.

The new Apache Family trio won in their debut of their team. AAA has a note up about Natsumi (Apache)’s debut.

The most inexplicable thing of this weekend I saw on Twitter was one of the old disused REINA accounts – and they have a few of those – popping to life to post results of a Monterrey show. I like results, that’s great, if totally weird.

Lineups

IWRG (WED) 04/04/2018 Arena Naucalpan
1) Voltan vs Black Puma
2) Dulce Luna & Reina del Sur vs Galaxia & Lili Dark
3) Atomic Star, Guerrero 2000, Keiser Dragón vs Ángel Estrella, Death Metal, Taurino
4) Black Dragón, Dinamic Black, Dragón Fly vs Demon Rocker (San Luis Potosí), Devil Rocker (San Luis Potosí), Machine Rocker (San Luis Potosí)
5) Emperador Azteca & Hijo del Alebrije vs Capo Del Norte & Máscara Año 2000 Jr.

I assume that’s the SLP fake Infierno Rockers, though I suppose Ultimo Gladiador might have started his own group by now.
