Mistico replaced Rush. Volador unmasked Caristico for the DQ. Caristico asked for one more fall. He did not get the one more fall.

The Pierroth team was supposed to be the rudo team because Rush was supposed to be with him, Diamante Azul is on the other side and they’re playing a Caristico/Volador feud. With Mistico in for Rush, it was the bizarre match of CMLL top tecnicos Mistico & Volador really getting into being evil. I saw only a little bit of the main event and it looked like an Ultimo Guerrero match.
Today’s CMLL show is a regular early week show with nothing special or following up from last week. Even the lightning match – Vangellys/Johnny Idol – doesn’t jump out as something immediately interesting. CMLL’s made a few subs since announcing the lineup: the main event is now Terrible, Rey Bucanero and Mephisto on the rudo side, the last replacing Cavernario. They face Mistico, Caristico and Angel de Oro. Hechicero is also added to the show, replacing shocker in a team with Negro Casas & Gran Guerrero against Valiente, Rey Cometa and Titan. It was odd Shocker wasn’t with his trios partners, but maybe they were setting up him and Negro Casas.
The opener has Angelito’s return to the promotion. CMLL was barely doing a Fantasy/Pequeno Nitro feud, but Pequeno Nitro’s off now and Pequeno Olimpico is in. Big Nitro is still on the lineup, and I think he’s supposed to be back from France by now.
The show will air at 7:30pm on CMLL’s YouTube channel.
Erika Canseco says she and Las Diosas del Ring will have something on the August 4th show. The edecanes only do dance numbers on the bigger shows, so that looks like it may be one. That seems like a date where one or two of the teased feuds could finish, since there’s too many to fit on the Anniversary show and CMLL’s been focused too much on them not to have any blow off match. CMLL would want to announce which ever ones are happening ASAP, and Zeuxis/Sugehit, Adonis/Panther and Roja/Guerreros are all present on Friday’s card. We’ll see.
Taya, Johnny Mundo, Vampiro, Dario Cueto and the Mack will be signing autographs at the San Diego comic con this Thursday and Friday. Taya & Mundo and Vampiro are signing on the same day, though separated by many hours. It’s odd there’s none of the Mexican talent there, especially since many of the ones still working for AAA will be in the area on Friday for the EMW show in Tijuana.

Lucha Memes says another person from their group will debut in September. I am out of the guessing game (today).
Rush & Pierroth are being advertised as teaming with someone named El Ingobernable on spot shows. There’s never a picture and I’m assuming is Septiembre Negro Jr. or another family member.
Siki Osama Jr. took Toro Bill Sr.’s hair in Puebla.
