Recapped: 10/30/2016
What happened: Nothing. There’s a feud in the semimain that end up going nowhere.
What was good: Nothing, really. The main event was so mailed in that people were forgetting to cover people for three counts (or forgetting to pull people up at two.) None of the matches are wretched, but it’s a poor investment of time to watch this.
Where can I watch it: It’s on CMLL’s channel and has already aired on 52MX

Notes: Ripper surprise attacked Máximo to start the match. Adonis & Idol feuded during portions of the match.
Review: [ok] crowd pleasing match which came off routine on TV. Idol played off Máximo well, especially in the third fall. Idol’s not bad, but he seems like he’s in his position solely for his look; there’s more interesting people who aren’t working semimains. This is one hurt by taking so long to watch it; all the Idol/Adonis feuding loses it’s impact when it’s already clear it’s just something to fill out this match and not really going anywhere.
Match 6: Máscara Dorada, Mistico, Volador Jr. vs Ephesto, Felino, Mephisto
Arena Puebla, 10/10/2016
Video: VideosOficialesCMLL, thecubsfan

- Metalik Driver on Ephesto (2:52)
- Mistico springboard senton con giro on Felino (2:57)
Winner: técnicos (1/3)
Match Time: 11:41
Notes: In the first fall, Volador and Mascara Dorada had cradles to beat Ephesto and Mephsito, and though they both had three. Dorada did, Volador did not (he let go at two), but Tirantes decided neither pin counted. Mephisto just stayed on the mat so he could get pinned again.
In the second fall, Felino appears to pin Volador after a Zacarias 619, only to decide to have his partners keep beating him up.
Review: [ok] maybe a generous grade: this was a low energy match with not much to it, and then usual one minute flurry of a comeback, a dive, and the finishes to wrap it up. It’s definitely not up to their standards of the técnicos, and it didn’t feel like the people involved were all that interested in being there. That offense didn’t get the same reaction as usual, to no large surprise.
