What happened: Rey Escoprion fouled Mistico again, which somehow gets him a title match. And that’s it.
What was good: Just that main event.
Where can I watch it: It’s on CMLL’s YouTube channel and matches from the show will air on 52MX on 04/16

Review: [below average] this was like a DF opener come to Puebla. Slow paced, not a lot of action, some weak finishes. This match gave us both Canelo Casas’ finish used by someone else, and whatever Arezswas doing for his submission in the third fall. The rudos were boring and the técnicos didn’t do as much as usual.

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 16:37
Review: [ok] this was a lot of Metálico being Metálico and not enough of Asutriano and Espíritu having good exchanges, they they ended really well. It was better than the previous match but most forgettable. One of these days, one of these referees won’t bother to stop Metálico from using his boxing gloves and I’m looking forward to seeing what occurs next. The pantsing spot seems to get messed up a lot.
Match 3: Blue Panther Jr., Fuego, Stuka Jr. © vs Bobby Z ©, Okumura, Skándalo

- Fuego Flashing Skandalo (3:27)
- Stuka torpedo splash Okumura (3:37)
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:21
Review: [ok] well paced and professional feeling trios match, if also a very familiar one, with the guys who aren’t usually being in this match also being the worst guys for this match. Skandalo had trouble with the timing on Fuego’s head takes, and Fuego seemed hot at him when Skandalo couldn’t roll over properlly for the finish (which of course was repeated.) This is simultaneously the best match on the show and the point where I wondered why I was watching this.
Match 4: La Máscara, Máscara Dorada, Valiente vs Cavernario, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas
Arena Puebla, 04/04/2016
Video: VideosOficialesCMLL
- Peste Negra
- Negro Casas tirbauzon Valiente (3:50)
- Mr. Niebla & Barbaro Cavernario crab La Mascara (4:58)
- tecnicos
- Valiente seated armbar Barbaro Cavernario (1:23)
- Mascara Dorada casita Negro Casas (1:27)
- Peste Negra
- La Mascara casita Mr. Niebla (4:35)
Winner: Peste Negra
Match Time: 11:00
Review: [ok] Crowd enjoyed the comedy and there was a lot of it. This was a lot of La Mascara as pretty boy técnico and not as much Valiente & Mascsara Dorada flying, but everyone deserves a night off. Cavernario really threw himself into the seats hard on Valiente’s tope and hopefully didn’t hurt himself in the process.
Match 5: Dragón Lee, Mistico © , Rush vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Pólvora, Rey Escorpión ©
Arena Puebla, 04/04/2016
Video: VideosOficialesCMLL
- técnicos
- La Mistica on Rey Escorpión (0:30)
- Revolucionarios
- Rey Escorpión sit down powerbomb Mistico (4:45)
- técnicos
- DQ Rey Escorpión [foul on Mistico] (8:00)
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 13:15
Notes: Rey Escorpión tried to hide his foul as a takedown, but it was still called. Escorpión unmasked Mistico and Dragon Rojo got Dragon Lee’s mask anyway.
Review: [good] Strong main event, going longer than I thought it would in the third and just needing a little more for me to call it great. Mistico was totally on in this match, looking spectacular from the really great Mistico. Rey Escorpión might be the best guy at working with him, and I’m a little disappointed we’re getting the trios title match instead of the singles match. The big Munoz family team up was a nice footnote, but it didn’t feel like this match got the most out of Rush. Rush insulting the Revolucionarios after the match was still fun. Dragon Rojo getting his shit ripped off really exposed how much unflattering weight he’s gained again, but the Destroyer he pulled off with Dragon Lee looked really great.
