1) Hip Hop Man & Matrix Jr. b Black Dragón & Shadow Boy
Shadow Boy & Black Dragon replaced Fireman & Rocket.
2) Leo, Mike, Rafy b Avisman, Picudo Jr., Vortize
3) El Hijo del Diablo, Imposible, Violencia Jr. b Argos, Hijo de Mascara Sagrada, Hijo del Alebrije
4) Toscano b Danny Casas
Three falls match but Danny didn’t really win any of them – Toscano just got DQed in the second. Toscano challenged Danny to a hair match next week.
5) Black Terry, Cerebro Negro, Dr. Cerebro © b Apolo Estrada Jr., Canis Lupus, Eterno [EdM Trios]
Canis Lupus doesn’t appear to be an official members of Los Insoportables. Fought more as a brawl than a technical title match. Terrible Cerberos took 1/3. The last saw Eterno wipe out Black Terry with a tope, but the Cerebros beat Apolo and Canis for the win. Second defense. Money thrown in.

This show airs tonight on AYM and about 1:30 AM tomorrow on LAS. Title match sounds good. The semifinal result hints at Danny Casas getting the win. Toscano’s not the favorite at the very least.

CMLL has it’s third cage match in four days tonight in Arena Puebla, with ten luchadors putting their hair or mask on the line. There’s a mix of Mexico City and Puebla luchador involved, which usually means a Puebla luchador (King Jaguar, Espiritu Maligno, Policeman) is going to lose. They have played off that awareness in recent years by going the other way – Canelo Casas losing as a surprise would fit and isn’t impossible. There’s also the issue of Stigma and Skandalo feuding heavily, pretty much ignoring what was going on with the match last week to have their own match. Those two are cousins and have talked about doing an apuesta match for some time, but I’m not sure Skandalo is physically able to wrestle a complete apuesta match (even climbing might be an issue) and there’s always a chance this might be a way to do it. I would guess it’s going to be King Jaguar losing and Disturbio getting the win, but this one feel like there are more possibilities than Friday’s match.

It’s a little bit more stacked Puebla card than usual (moving the mid card guys up to the top means the Sky Team is working the tercera.) La Mascara versus Negro Casas is the lightning match, and should be a good ten minute match with odd fall breaks. The Sky Team takes on Kraneo, Ripper and Mephisto in what should be a good flying match. The two openers have chances to be good as well. The show will start at 9pm, and will air on CMLL’s YouTube channel.

Today is also Día de los Inocentes, which means joke articles to see if you’re paying attention. SuperLuchas had a “WWE is buying CMLL” one, Furia de Titanes had a “AAA is a New Abismo Negro” one, and there’s a fake Elite poster with Daniel Bryan going around. R de Rudo had LA Park and Dr. Wagner actually agreeing to do their mask match, which is the best fake story.

CMLL, in an email to iPPV buyers, said the full Infierno en el Ring show will be posted online tomorrow for anyone who wants to see it. They also say “Les ofrecemos una disculpa y veremos en un futuro como recompensar el inconveniente”, so maybe something else is coming.

Negro Casas and Atlantis shared their memories of Lizmark.

Segunda Caida reviews La Sombra & Volador Jr. vs Atlantis & Rey Bucanero [CMLL TAG].

Mystery woman from the CMLL Bodybuilding contest Zanelly wrestled and won in Puebla on Christmas, teaming with Gema to defeated Pasion Cristal and Reina Isis.

  1. I saw Rey Apocolipsis & Toro Bill Jr were on that Puebla card. Where have they been/will they be back in Arena Puebla some Monday?
Do Batalleon de la Muerte & Adelina win the LU trios titles and that’s why they’ve been gone from CMLL? If only…
