Recapped: 11/02/2015
What happened: Thunder defeated Euforia. Peste Negra defeated the Sky Team, which might be setting up a trios title match.
What was good: Nothing extrordinary, but the first half of the card had some good moments. The tercera was a good midcard match, the women’s match was better than usual and the opener had some moments.
Where can I watch it: It’s on CMLL’s YouTube channel.
Match 1: Bengala ©, Millenium, Rey Samuray vs El Malayo, Fuerza Chicana, Inquisidor ©

- Rey Samurai springboard moonsault Fuerza Chicana (3:43)
- Rey Samuray crooked figure four Malayo (4:36)
- rudos
- Fuerza Chicana Gori faceslam Millenium (1:48)
- Bengala triangular del Solar Inquisidor (3:00)
Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:36
Review: [ok] This had a serious derailiment to end the second fall and Inquisidor & Bengala mailing it in (except for the last minute leading to the finish), but this was the usual promising Puebla opener. The Puebla guys were speeding around the ring and mostly looked good. Rey Samuray didn’t do his ramp running armdrag, but did get in a dive to the floor. Malayo looked good and worked well with Fuerza. Millenium did all right until slipping while climbing the ropes for that moonsault. This wasn’t great but had a lot of highlights.
Match 2: Estrellita ©, La Vaquerita, Lluvia vs La Comandante, La Seductora, Zeuxis ©

- La Vaquerita casadora cradle La Comandante (4:27)
- Estrellita backslide bridge Zeuxis (4:41)

- La Seducotra seated armbar Lluvia (2:36)

- La Comandante Gori Stretch Estrellita (3:05)
Winner: rudas (2-1)
Match Time: 11:18
Review: [ok] mostly normal women’s match with no serious problems, though nothing outstanding. Better than average, then! Zeuxis was the exception, looking super on offense and going a long way to make Estrellita’s armdrags look good. La Comandante almost dropped Estrellita on her head at the finish and stopped, so that was good.
Match 3: Ángel de Oro ©, Rey Cometa, Stuka Jr. vs Ephesto ©, Hechicero, Luciferno
Arena Puebla, 11/02/2015
- tecnicos
- Rey Cometa huracanrana Luciferno (4:27)
- Stuka huracanrana Hechicero (4:35)
- rudos
- Luciferno Hooligan Crash Angel de Oro (3:25)
- tecnicos
- Angel de Oro Ephesto Roll (5:38)
Winner: tecnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 13:38
Review: [good] professional trios match. This was a bit formula – the double moonsault bit Cometa & Stuka did at the end seemed to be a replay of one they night before – but everyone hit their masks and generally everything well. Hechicero had a cool mask and sent Cometa high in the air on the reverse monkey flip. Angel de Oro got beat up a lot. Infiernos work best with Hechicero as a member.
Match 4: Euforia vs Thunder
Arena Puebla, 11/02/2015
- Thunder legdrop (1:47)
- Euforica Special (2:07)
- Thunder cradle suplex (6:29)
Winner: Thunder (2-1)
Match Time: 10:23
Review: [bad] Thunder is horrendous. Still. Now. Forever. He botched several spots and looked exactly like a guy who would not be used by this (or most any) promotion if he wasn’t tall and/or well connected. He was easily the worst luchador on the show. Euforia tried – maybe too much – to make this into a good match. That was a problem, because Thunder doesn’t have the gas tank to go that long and his worst moments were towards the end of the match. Thunder’s singles matches need to be kept to one fall just to shave the time a bit more.
Match 5: Mistico ©, Valiente, Volador Jr. vs Cavernario, Mr. Niebla ©, Negro Casas
Arena Puebla, 11/02/2015
- Peste Negra
- Cavernario springboard pump splash Volador Jr. (2:21)
- Negro Casas crossface Valiente (2:29)
- Sky Team
- Valiente half crab Cavernario (2:35)
- Volador tirabuzon Negro Casas (2:35)
- Peste Negra
- La Nieblina on Mistico (3:24)
Winner: Peste Negra
Match Time: 8:20
Review: [ok] seemed really short, was fine for what it was – crowd liked Peste Negra and Sky Team got to a bit of flying. There just really wasn’t much here, and that’s not so surprising given the time. I barely remember anything Volador or Casas did. Mistico almost went head first on the apron in a way I’ve never seen before, so good for him still innovating.
