Valiente makes sure Hechicero goes into the crowd

What happened? Valiente defeated Hechicero to win their very short feud. The normal C3 feed wasn’t working and I missed the opener.

What was good? Puma & Tiger did fun Puma & Tiger things despite having not great opponents. I think I liked Hechicero/Valiente more than most, though it wasn’t what it might have been a few years ago.

Where can I watch? What I got is on YouTube. Links with each match.

Tecnicos took 2/3. Volador & La Mascara defeated Negro Casas & Shocker to set up a tag title match next week.

There’s no particular explanation of why Volador & La Mascara are friends now.

1) Guerrero 2000 & Vampiro Metálico b Blue Metal & Chicanito

5) Mega, Omega (2002), Super Mega, Ultra Mega DQ Comando Delta, Comando Gama, Comando Stone, Rayan
Comando Delta got away with a martinete on Delta, but Stone got caught fouled Mega. Each team challenged each other for Castillo del Terror.

A lot of mask match challenges on these shows between the stars and it’s the Comandos and the Megas in the match instead. That’ll probably be fun (though less so if Rayan loses.) These Wednesday shows are probably hidden FILL shows with the retro feud being the draw instead of a Copa Higher Power but close enough for me.

TuriLuchas bus service to Arena Coliseo will begin this Saturday. That joins the Friday and Tuesday trips. The press release mentions future plans to expand to Arena Puebla as well.

AAA has photos from their Antonio Pena memorial service.

Guerrero Negro Jr. has recovered enough to talk to police. That seems good. The police says Guerrero Negro kept changing the story of why he got shot. That seems not good. They explained this as Guerrero Negro Jr. being still hurt (mentally and physically) enough not to remember what happened right, though obviously there could be other reasons. Guerrero Negro Jr. said he did not know who shot him, but the second link says three witnesses identified him as Javier “el Mecanico”. Never a good thing to be a shot, probably worse to be shot by a guy who has a public nickname.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

Highlights of the RIOT debut show.

+LuchaTV has highlights of Cielito versus Angel Blanco. Cielito’s mask is a slightly modified Magnifico one.

Apolo Valdes talks about the positive experience of going to an indy show.

Hechicero talks about his career with ESTO. He says that when he gets burned when practices the fire trick at home but it always goes fine when he does it at the arenas.

Disturbio versus Hijo del Diablo has been added to the 10/25 Chilanga Mask show in Coacalco.

El Marquez lost his mask to Apolo Estrada Jr. in Chilpancingo. That was the show which listed Black Warrior in his first match in quite a while; Black Terry moved up from the undercard to replace him.

Brujo Maya took Picudo‘s hair on the Leyendas show in Queretaro. Fantasma crashed and burned on a dive in his title defense against Mr. Jack. He continued to a double pin draw.

There’s a Caifan & Charles Lucero vs Dr. Cerbero & Guerrero Maya match in Monterrey this Sunday.

Annual champions carnival deal. A lot of people making challenges in IWRG, but only the main event seems to be built up at all. (And even then, as I’ll continue to note, they just had X-Fly win a giant battle royal to earn that shot for himself.) I think the main event is a title match at least; the poster doesn’t really list as one.

monkey bars SSP?

What happened? Villano IV cheated to beat Psycho Clown in Villano III’s final matches. The Hell Brothers kept the trios match in a three way cage match.

What was good? My ability to give a dry recap of the events in the previous paragraph without mocking how bad much of it was. I guess this was the lesser half of the show, but it’s tough to pick a good half.

Where can I watch? It’s all around YouTube, including AAA’s channel.
