Recapped: 08/18/15
What happened? Nothing.
What was good? Nothing. This was a totally skippable Tuesday show.
Where can I watch? This is all in the 2015 August Week 3 playlist.

Review: [ok] Not completely a mailed in match, but it didn’t seem like what we’d get from some of these guys if they were one whole spot higher on the card. The stretched out ending sequence was a nice change of pace but this is not a match I’m going to remember by the time I finish this recap. Acero may have been trying the hardest, looked fine, needs something to make him distinct.

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 14:16
Notes: Referee is Tirantes.
Review: [ok] I was desperate for a reason to like this match, just so I don’t feel dumb wasting 20 minutes on it. I feel dumb. There are many people in this match who I really don’t need to see in any more matches, yet I keep watching those matches. Signo does appear to have lost part of his cut. Oro Jr.’s jumping cutter looked the most assisted it has since.
Match 3: La Vaquerita, Marcela, Princesa Sugehit vs Amapola, Dalys, Zeuxis
Arena México, 08/11/2015
- técnicas
- Vaquerita bridging pin Dalys (6:53)
- Princesa Sugehit satellite armbar Zeuxis (7:09)
- rudas
- Daly sit down powerbomb Vaquerita (3:16)
- Zeuxis double knee smash Princesa Sugehit (3:57)
- rudas
- Amapola Devil’s Wings Marcela (4:11)
Winner: rudas (2-1)
Match Time: 15:17
Notes: Referee is Pompin.
Review: [below average] an average match that just got bad in the third fall (and probably is punished a bit for being the third boring match in a row.) Dalys’ corner jumping hip smashes are consistently awful, and one of those moves which the cameras love showing how little contact is actually made. Dalys also forgot the pretense of this being a fight and just walked around to take moves in the third fall. Marcela & Amapola had bizarrely awful sequence in third fall, followed by a Sugehit bad headscissors too. There wasn’t a lot good to make up for the bad.
Stellar Moments
Lo Alevoso: Demus Driver on Shockercito
El Castigo: Zeuxis double knee smash on Princesa Sugehit
La Llave: La Mascara campana on Terrible
El Rudo: Ultimo Guerrero foul to Rey Escorpion
Lo Doloroso: Sombra double knee smash to Atlantis
Match 4: Dragon Lee, Rey Cometa, Valiente © vs Ephesto ©, Hechicero, Luciferno

- Rey Cometa crucifix cradle Ephesto (6:20)
- rudos
- Luciferno guillotine senton con giro Valiente (2:23)
- rudos
- Luciferno Hooligan Crash Rey Cometa (3:55)
- Hechicero mask pull Valiente (4:38)
Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 13:21
Notes: Referee is Tirantes.
Review: [ok] hopefully the singles match (on a one week build!) is better than this, because it really seemed to never pick up speed after Dragon Lee’s dive to nowhere. no one was more surprised by Dragon Lee’s dive than Luciferno, the man who seemed to be there to catch him. Dragon Lee looked off the rest of the way, though he deserves credit for going on and (preventing the match from completely falling apart.) Rey Cometa is still suspiciously not doing very much.
Match 5: Dragón Rojo Jr., Rey Escorpión ©, Vangellys vs Euforia, Niebla Roja, Último Guerrero ©
Arena México, 08/11/2015
- Guerreros
- DQ Rey Escorpion [ref attack] (4:21)
- Guerreros
- Pulpo Guerrero on Rey Escorpion (4:21)
Winner: Guerreros (2-0)
Match Time: 8:42
Notes: Guerreros actually make it to the ring first without being attacked. The Guerreros charge Dragon Rojo & Rey Escorpion, of course. Referee is Bestia Negra.
Review: [ok] probably the best match of the show, but that’s not saying much. Rey Escorpion and Ultimo Guerrero brawling was the greatest part of the show and had the most life, though the other four didn’t do a lot and it’s amazing to see how much they have Escorpion losing. The hair match loser usually gets a little bit of revenge, but nothing here. The first fall stretched on, but at least they had Rey Escorpion teasing the DQ a few times before finally earning it. This match had the best dives on the show, which is just weird and says a lot about the show. Ultimo was still challenging Thunder for a mask/hair match.
