4) Ángel de Oro, Rey Cometa, Stuka Jr. b Misterioso Jr., Pierroth, Sagrado
moved down a spot.
5) Metálico b Omar Brunetti [hair]
Zavala distracted the referee to allow Metalico to get in a foul for the win. Omar lost his hair for the first time..
6) Máximo, Super Porky, Valiente b Euforia, Negro Casas, Último Guerrero

It’s tough to be Pedro Infante if you’re bald.

CMLL (WED) 09/16/2015 Arena México [CMLL]
1) La Vaquerita & Skadi b La Seductora & Reyna Isis
2) Delta, Fuego, Guerrero Maya Jr. b Kamaitachi, Okumura, Virus

5) Cavernario © vs Tritón [MEX WELTER]
Cavernario’s first defense. Seconds were Titan and Kamaitachi. Cavernario retained with the caverneria after landing his splash to the floor. Money thrown in.
6) Mistico, Valiente, Volador Jr. DQ Euforia, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas
Negro Casas fouled Volador Jr. for the DQ.

Title match sounds like it went very well.

IWRG (WED) 09/16/2015 Arena Naucalpan [The Gladiatores]
1) Alas de Acero & Aramis b Magnum 44 & Vampiro Metálico
Vampiro Metalico’s first match here in a year.
2) Extreme Fly & Felinito b Bracito De Plata & Bracito de Platino
Extreme Fly replaced Dragon de Oro and made his main show debut.
3) Atomic Star, Diablo Jr. 1, El Golpeador, Eterno b Aeroman, Mike, Rafy, Ram El Carnero
Ram el Carnero replaced Eternus
4) Imposible © b Metaleón [IWRG IC Light]
Imposible 9th defense. Said to be a good match.
5) Apolo Estrada Jr. & El Hijo del Diablo b Trauma I & Trauma II and Hijo del Pantera & Pantera II © [cage, hair, mask, IWRG IC TAG]
Gringos put up their hair, Traumas put up their masks, and Panteras put up the tag titles. Everyone was required to be in the cage for 10 minutes. Hijo del Pantera hurt his knee in that segment. Escapes went Trauma II, Pantera II, Trauma I, leaving the injured Hijo Pantera in with the Gringos. They went after his knee. Pantera II came back in to help, but the Gringos escaped first to win. Gringos won the tag titles from the Panteras.

Thought there was a possibility the Gringos would lose their hair, because the Panteras have only been champs for a short time. Maybe they’ll have a rematch.

Cara Lucha (WED) 09/16/2015 Arena San Juan Pantitlan, Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, Estado de México [+LuchaTV, Black Terry Jr. (Flickr), Furia de Titanes, KronoSport, thecubsfan]
1) Rey Fenix b Death Fly, Imperio Negro, Ying Sang, Balack
2) Centvrión & Látigo b Fly Warrior & Mr. Leo
Fly Warrior replaced Metaleon. Great match. The Kriminal Boys welcomed Fly Warrior into their group after the match, but Fly Warrior rejected them. Centviron, Latigo and Fly Warrior attacked the Kriminal Boys and formed their own group, Mala Hierba.
3) Sky Man b Rayo Star, Principe Diamante
Flyer did not show, so a tag match was turned into a three way. Principe Diamante was concussed early in the match and the match struggled until he was eliminated. Skyman beat Rayo Star for the win.
4) Aeroboy & Violento Jack b Fly Star & Toxin
Hard hitting match, with the Compadres Extremos winning in the first three fall match of the night.
5) Centinela, Epydemius, Ultimo Ninja b Andy Boy, Danger, Guerrero Mixtico
Danger & Mixitco came to the ring with the ERLL tag belts from Monterrey. Match halted after a Centinela handspring broke the top rope. Match resumed while the turnbuckle was still being fixed, and second fall was very bad due to nerves and not trusting the ropes. Third fall was good, with a huge dive train. Everyone fouled everyone else in the third fall after the ref went down, but the ref got up in time to see Mixtico fouled Centinela. Mixtico tried fouling referee Teddy, but he caught it and fouled Mixtico himself. The Neza Kings tried to taking the tecnicos masks and pinning them, only for Teddy to call the DQ. Epydemius and Ultimo Ninja challenged for a tag title match.
6) Pagano b Damián 666 and LA Park
LA Park ripped CMLL in prematch mic work. Extreme match, where LA Park still got DQed for a foul. Pagano beat Damian after LA Park finally left.

LA Park’s promo:

LA Park seemed to be eliminated first so he wouldn’t get mobbed by the fans on the way out and wouldn’t have to talk to the press. (There was plenty there to do interviews, but he declined them all.)

ESTO has a take down of Park’s partner in crime, Dr. Wagner Jr. The article, which has no author listed, calls Wagner out for repeatedly leaving promotions on bad terms. It claims All Elite actually fired the both of them. All Elite did not have both of them on their most recent (and maybe last) Arena Mexico show. The article also says Wagner manipulated a new contract and a raise from AAA by teasing a return to CMLL in past years, and claims his appearances in CMLL ‘only’ raised attendance 20%.

Damian made it over to Arena Neza to help win the semimain event trios there. Pagano & Centinela followed to challenge FdTJ to an extreme match. Averno defeated Myzteziz for the WWA Middleweight championship in the main event.

It’s looking like we’re going to make it to the DTU show in Arena Aficion today. It’s the longest trip we’re taking this week and we’re not expecting to be back until early Friday, so probably no podcast until after the Anniversary show.

Mano Negra and Tiera Viento y Fuego still haven’t gotten over Atlantis taking their masks, hope Sombra beats him. Atlantis is asking for a no seconds match (which seems to be code for “no interference.”)

+LuchaTV has interviews Atlantis and La Sombra

Negro Casas talks about being on many Anniversary shows, says he’ll have new gear on Friday.

Viva La Lucha (WWN/Masked Republic/PWR) will be running four lucha libre shows in Florida from October 29th to November 1st. Silver King, Rey Bucanero, Extreme Tiger, Rey Horuz, Ivelisse and more.

A group is going to run what sounds like a Lucha Va Voom style show in Mexico on 10/03. I believe that’s a first; I wonder who will be the first to condemn it.

Sahori went off on the LLF promotion, saying the commission doesn’t regulate it, most of the luchdoras are untrained children, and implying the promoter takes advantage of his position. This happened after LLF canceled booking Sahori.

LuchaWorld has the latest edition of their podcast, previewing the Anniversary show.

There’s an English dub of this past week’s AAA show. I haven’t listened to it yet, but it sounds like a good idea.

Lineups

CMLL (MON) 09/21/2015 Arena Puebla
1) Paris, Principe Diamante, Zaeta Roja vs Guerrero Espacial, Rey Apocalipsis, Toro Bill Jr.
2) Lestat, Molotov, Oro Jr. vs Akuma, Metálico, Policeman
3) Delta, Fuego, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Boby Zavala, Disturbio, Kamaitachi
4) Dragon Lee, Valiente, Volador Jr. vs Ephesto, Luciferno, Mephisto
5) Atlantis vs Rey Escorpión

Atlantis wanted a title match, Rey Escorpion wanted a super libre, no one gets what they want. Going to be tougher for Escorpion to win if he can’t pull the mask.

(I’m getting what I want – Toro & Apocalipsis, hooray.)

Principe Diamante on this show means someone thought he’s still in CMLL despite working the Puebla show. I’d say we will be able to quickly check to see if he’s still with the group, but it might not be the case if he’s out with the injury he suffered last night.

CMLL (TUE) 09/22/2015 Arena México
1) Aéreo & Eléctrico vs Pequeño Universo 2000 & Pequeño Violencia
2) Metatrón, Robin, Sensei vs Arkángel de la Muerte, Canelo Casas, Inquisidor
3) Flyer vs Súper Comando [lightning]
4) Blue Panther Jr., Delta, The Panther vs Misterioso Jr., Pierroth, Sagrado
5) Blue Panther, Super Porky, Titán vs Kráneo, Morphosis, Ripper
6) La Máscara, La Sombra, Rush vs Felino, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas

Ingobernables versus Pesta Negra. Flyer versus Super Comando should be pretty good, but this one I’m not sad about missing out.

CMLL (TUE) 09/22/2015 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Flash I & Flash II vs Exterminador & Maléfico
2) Oro Jr., Star Jr., Vaquero Jr. vs Apocalipsis, Camorra, Cholo
3) La Vaquerita, Marcela, Silueta vs Amapola, Dalys, Zeuxis
4) Ángel de Oro, Stuka Jr., Valiente vs Ephesto, Luciferno, Mephisto
5) Marco Corleone, Máximo, Volador Jr. vs Rey Bucanero, Shocker, Terrible

TRG still exists, gets the main event here.
