The usual Monday lineup changes brought one big surprise: LA Park is no longer on CMLL lineups. The Familia Real main event this week now includes Valiente is no longer the main event. Shocker takes LA Park’s place two weeks from now on the Anniversary show.
It’s unknown what caused the change. LA Park has been active on Twitter, but only RT every comment about him so who knows what he really thinks. It appears to be a CMLL decision. LA Park was fired previously for acting in ways CMLL did not want, and maybe it’s as simple as Park doing or saying some CMLL did not want.
This hurts the Anniversary card, which was surprisingly unnoteworthy already. This also means the teased Rush/LA Park hair match is off. CMLL keeps bringing back Mr. Niebla after his issues and could always do same here but, for the moment, it seems like yet another bad exit from a promotion for LA Park.

Winner gets a shot at the Rey de Reyes or a title shot against the champion of their division. Match came down to Shu el Guerrero (in his first IWRG appearance since 2011) & X-Fly, with X-Fly winning. He challenged Hijo de Dos Caras for the heavyweight title next week.
X-Fly is on a winning streak and going for the title. Doesn’t get bigger than that.
Today’s Puebla show has two singles matches. National champion Zeuxis challenges Marcela for the world championship in what’s nearly a two women Universal tournament. The outcome is not in doubt, but it’s one of CMLL’s best possible women’s singles matches and a treat after last week’s lackluster show.
The other singles match is La Mascara versus Mr. Niebla, which should at least be memorable. Maybe they’ll break out the casita driver again. The locals are back on this week’s show, including the Rey Apocalipsis/Toro Bill Jr. team. Show starts at 9pm CT, and will air on YouTube as usual.
