Rey Cometa/Mephisto would be a rare new matchup.

Guerrero challenged for the trios titles, and the match will take place next Sunday.
CMLL has 16 men’s champions right now, which works for their Universal tournament. Howerver, if Mascara Dorada is really not coming back for the tournament, they only have 15. (We’re assuming Shocker being a judge in En Busca de un Idolo means they haven’t taken away his title.) One and only one of the double champions – Mephisto & Volador – has to lose a title. It just happens that Volador has a title match next Sunday, and it appears Mephisto will have a title match next Monday. It seems like a bad idea for the Sky Team to lose, but their loss now would mean no Mistico in the Universal tournament later.
Full ChilangaMask results tomorrow, but there are quick notes from +LuchaTV’s reports and all the matches sound like they went well. Arena Naucaplan looked close to full, which would be the biggest attendance for this show and a notable success for a show where they took a bit of a risk. Zeuxis was mentioned as being injured after her loss to Keira, though it’s unclear how serious it is. They continue to tease one more Hechicero/Caifan match at a future show, and they announced Black Terry & Jeque vs Caifan & Tiger Universtiario for an 09/02 show at Coacalco.
Disturbio feels like he’s a winner for beating Boby Zavala (even if he doesn’t actually win the thing.)
La Mascara & La Sombra say the usual things.
Challenges for the next (10/02) The Crash show in Tijuana.

Freezer and Yaqui have been feuded on this shows when they haven’t been interrupted for other shows. They’re two undercarders but, because it’s an important stipulation, they put them in the main event. Crazy.
“Maz” isn’t a last name, but probably a designation that this is the Relampago from Mazatlan since the rest of the trios are guys who usually work there. Guadalajara wrestlers have gone to Sinaloa to work their shows in the past, and this is the first exchange we’ve seen the other way.
