Review: [ok] Borderline match, probably hurt by higher expectations of something more novel and instead getting the usual. The first fall was different, with about seven minutes of mat work from Sangre & Magnus and Fuego & Virus, but then it just didn’t get better from there. I think I might have too high expectations for guys like Virus 7 the Panther in trios. Magnus fit in fine and they changed the drama of things around a little late, but it all felt tied around Sangre Azteca hitting his usual spots.

Review: [ok] short match, totally focused on Brazo de Plata. Porky seems fatter than ever of late. He was definitely less interested in selling than usual here, which didn’t work out so well when the rudos kept him in and the other guys out. It did work in that he was the most over guy in the match. Rey Escorpion made Porky look great, it was an amazing one man show. Rey Escorpion doing the Black Warrior taunt a lot lately is odd. This was an easy match for Titan – don’t think I’ve seen him do many pescados before.
Match 3: Atlantis, La Máscara, Volador Jr. vs Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Vangellys
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 05/26/2015

- Volador backcracker Rey Bucanero (2:29)
- La Mascara casita Vangellys (2:31)

- DQ Terrible [foul kick to Atlantis] (3:05)
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:53
Notes: Terrible obviously fouled Atlantis to save himself from certain Atlantida doom.
Review: [ok] If you think about it, you shouldn’t be able to win on a punch, because punches are illegal. It’s like getting a submission to a choke. I had time to think about this because there was nothing going on in the first fall of this match and they’re showing the reading contest vignette at least twice every show. I was also waiting for Volador and Máscara to inevitably turn on each other, but apparently they forgot they hate each other and Terrible supplied the poor finish instead. A routine match.
