6) Marco Corleone, Naito, Rush b Rey Bucanero, Shocker, Terrible VIERNES 19 DE JUNIO LUCHA SEMIFINAL CMLL (2) (posted by VideosOficialesCMLL)
7) Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Último Guerrero DQ Dragón Rojo Jr., Rey Escorpión, Thunder VIERNES 19 DE JUNIO LUCHA ESTELAR CMLL (1) (posted by VideosOficialesCMLL)
Straight falls, Revolucionarios DQed in both. Rey Escorpion was DQed in the second for breaking glass over Ultimo Guerrero’s head. Revolucionarios walked off with Gran and Euforia’s masks.

Glass spots are always prelude to hair matches. It’s just matter of when and how. Something like a cage match in July and Rey Escorpion/Ultimo Guerrero for the Anniversary seems plausible.

Fuerza pulled Solar’s mask, setting up a singles match between them.
5) Canek b Mr. Jack
Canek took 2/3 even despite Mr. Jack Jr. interfering.

Attendance appeared to be minimal. There was a Clown Corp trios match advertised but not listed in either results; thinking it still might have happened because it was against the local guys who are on every Neza show (possibly by rule.) I’m sure the main event was five stars, revolutionizing lucha libre. The women’s division is hilarious: whoever is in charge wants Yuca to be the star, but the 80s/90s luchadoras she’s working with appear to not at all interested in actually losing to her.

CMLL recap points out how it doesn’t quite make sense that Azul & Rush are teaming tonight. In another place, this might be a signal they’re breaking up and building to a singles match. This is not quite that place. Dalys challenges Marcela for the women’s title. I really don’t want Dalys to win the title, because she’s not that good, but the weird finish last night suggests she might. Marcela seems to only lose the title to foreigners and Dalys is Panamanian! (Marcela also wins it back relatively quick.)

CMLL was also testing a live YouTube stream Friday, airing portions of the Sky Team vs Revolucionarios title match from Puebla. They explained their plan yet, so it may not be official, but there are plans for more live broadcasts to come.

ChilangaMask runs Sunday afternoon in Coliseo Coacalco.  There’s a couple good techinical matches, with Caifan vs Virus and Black Terry, Negro Navarro, Solar vs Avisman, Jeque and Judas el Traidor. There’s also the Pagano versus Hechicero battle of guys with very different styles, though Hechicero will be continuing his 2015 mission to prove he shouldn’t be labeled as a one dimensional guy.

The Toluca trio who attacked the Indystrongibles are going with the name Los Kamikazes, and they have a promo for their ChilangaMask trios match on +LuchaTV’s channel. This is a big show for them. ChilangaMask has seemed to make names for guys on the indy scene, doing well there matters.

La Secta say their loss to Jack & Angelico was just a battle but not the war.

RobViper has highlights of 03/03/15 CMLL.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

Did you know: 6 years ago yesterday, Ultimo Guerrero beat and humiliated Texano Jr. in the first Universal tournament. (That’s CMLL’s story, anyway.)

7) Gran Guerrero, Niebla Roja, Último Guerrero vs Pólvora, Rey Escorpión, Thunder

Guerreros go for revenge. Bucanero back across from Diamante Azul in the semifinal, so his title may not be so safe. Panther/Canelo might be the worst match in this tournament.

Cadetes del Espacio are back together! By random draw, sure. The team CMLL put together, sent out to do media, and stopped booking together after two weeks (both losses), are 2-8 lifetime as a trio.
