taped 2015-03-24 @ Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
Magnum, Oro Jr., Starman vs Disturbio, Espiritu Negro, Maléfico: [ok] this match aired instead of the women’s match. It’s very possible the woman’s match was dire. This wasn’t anything to write home about either, except for Oro trying an ill advised springboard but still finishing the match. The Guadalajara vets are solid but not at all interesting. Espiritu Negro fulfilled his requirement of doing the Black Warrior bump. That’s all I got.
Ángel de Oro, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Pólvora, Rey Escorpión, Ripper: [ok] Good first fall and then down from there. Rudos took over during the break, then controlled most of the remainder of the match while accomplishing very little. Lots of slow kicking and punching, and lots of Ripper taking the referee without the rudos actually cheating. Crowd got bored, so did I.
Atlantis, Mistico, Titán vs Ephesto, Mephisto, Rey Bucanero: [ok] and the same match as the last, thought slightly higher peaks and not as deep a valley. This all had a tighter focus on Mephisto and Místico, setting up that match all the way to the finish. Highlight of this match is Bucanero just outright refusing to do the flying headbutt miss. Rey Bucanero, who’s taking many dumb falls in his life, finally drew the line.
