Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr., Stuka Jr. vs Puma, Tiger, Virus: [ok] Actually kind of disappointing if you’ve seen a lot of these matches – this is technically fine but missing a spark and feeling a bit like running thru the motions at times. Third fall editing didn’t help, with Delta magically teleporting from the floor to the corner at one point and whatever build there was to the finish removed. Guerrero Maya Jr. and Virus sequences here are similar to what they’d do in their lightning match; there’s no much here that’s not also better elsewhere.
Valiente vs Felino: [below average] This was going to be interesting if and only if Felino worked harder than usual. He worked like usual instead, and so it was what it was. Valiente countering the Zacarias 619 makes sense, Felino letting Valiente go and Zacarias coming to a standing stop did not. Felino kicking out Valiente’s finisher twice didn’t make much sense but no one recognized it was his finish so I guess it worked out okay. Finish was awful. Tirantes called the ref stupido, accurately.
La Máscara, Marco Corleone, Máximo vs Bárbaro Cavernario, Rey Bucanero, Terrible: [ok] Comedy match. Highlight was Tirantes talking over Magadan to mockingly read the ad copy. There’s a few too many of those for him. This match featured the Cavernario/Corleone match you never knew you wanted. Máximo appeared to lose a fall by fainting. Mascara & Marco wavered between not helping Máximo and helping him, then cost each other the match.
