Stigma takes double impact

Dragon Lee, Esfinge, Stigma vs Cancerbero, Okumura, Raziel: [good] Glad this made air, it was better than expected based on the names. Dragon Lee is pretty much All-World level at this point. Okumura is not as good as taking his offense as Kamitachi but Dragon Lee still makes it work and makes Okumura look like a killer on the first fall finish. Rudos gleefully destroy the técnicos for the first stretch, which they can do well, and the tecnicos look better than usual on their own offensive stretches. Esfinge continues to improve; he’s not quite at the point where I’d be asking for him in an En Busca de un Idolo style tournament, but he seems like he’d fit in. That wasn’t the case even two month ago.

crushing hanging DDT
springboard frog splash to the back
weird reaction to a legdrop but ok

Blue Panther, Super Porky, Titán vs Kráneo, Rey Bucanero, Thunder: [OK] This looks like a short match on the YouTube by video length, but it’s even shorter in reality due the El Faraon video and a Sabado Retros video airing after the first fall. It’s sub 9 minutes for a trios match, so they’re not really accomplishing all that much. This would’ve been better at one fall (to reclaim the time in between falls) or even just a two fall match. The first few minute are interesting, with Rey Bucanero working so much harder than usual to do mat wrestling with Blue Panther and keeping up well. Titan and Thunder randomly end up feuding, and Titan continues to work well as the undersized underdog – they keep it at a low level of difficulty but it still works. The rest of it is the usual Super Porky match with a super awkward finish. There’s not enough here to make this match worth watching but it’s a net positive for other matches.

Super Porky > Thunder
Dragon Lee tope con giro

Mistico, Valiente, Volador Jr. vs Euforia, Felino, Último Guerrero: [ok] quick and skippable. This was more heavily built around the Felino/Valiente feud but there’s no chemistry there and Felino wasn’t even trying as hard as last week. First half of the match was dull. Comeback headscissors looked really poor. Crowd did not react at all for the Mistica, which was kind of sad. Still, the Místico & Volador vs Euforia & Guerrero bit of the third fall were the best part of the match and probably saved it from a lower grade.

Felino can’t quite help
