03/06 AAA TV Results (DF) – Mesias rejoins the rudos

AAA TV (FRI) 03/06/2015 Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera, Ciudad de México, Distrito Federal [AAA, R de Rudo]
1) Argenis, Dinastía, Niño Hamburguesa b Carta Brava Jr., Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Mini Psycho Clown
Tecnicos won, but were beat up by Electroshock and his unnamed partner. (‘Kronuz’ appears to be an unofficial name.)
2) Dark Cuervo & Taya Valkyrie b Drago & Faby Apache
Cuervo beat Faby Apache with a powerbomb.
3) Daga, Joe Lider, Súper Fly b Angélico, Australian Suicide, Jack Evans
Super Fly defeated Suicide via double powerbomb.
4) Blue Demon Jr., El Mesías, La Parka b Averno, Chessman, Cibernético
A video with Alberto and Rey Mysterio aired prior to the match, saying hello to the fans and saying they’d be wrestling in Mexico City soon. Prior to the second match, Konnan & Cibernetico came out to talk about how their alliance was going great and invite Mesias to join them. Mesias did not say anything but did seem to reject the offer. Demon beat Averno in the match – then Mesias speared Parka thru a table in the corner after the match, apparently joining the alliance after all. Hell Brothers beat up the tecnicos, with Cibernetico taking Demon’s mask.
5) Fénix, Myzteziz, Psycho Clown b el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Hijo del Fantasma, Pentagón Jr.
Fenix beat Fantasma with the Fire Driver.

Air Date: 03/14. Opener will probably be internet/UTDN exclusive.

The Mesias turn was the usual big development on this show, something they could do that meant something without interfering in Rey de REyes. The Rey de Reyes final now has two rudos, two tecnicos, and no clear favorite. Rey Mysterio, Alberto el Patron, Myzteziz being the dream team and guys like Parka & Demon still around made Mesias kind of lost in the mix on the tecnico side and gives him plenty to do as a rudo.

Enrique and Oscar recapped the show on SoundCloud. They said Mesias got a welcome back celebration from the rudos. I bet Averno would’ve been even happier if Mesias helped them out before he got beat. Mesias is likely to be the mystery man on the rudo side on the 04/01 SLP show, though tend not to announce those until the day of the show.

Not a lot of other news here. Third match sounds like the best match on the show. Super Fly is on a shocking win streak, but Cuerno winning points to random outcomes just for the sake of random outcomes.

Next taping is 03/15 for Rey de Reyes.

CMLL (FRI) 03/06/2015 Arena México [CMLL]
1) Canelo Casas & Metálico b Robin & Sensei
2) Okumura, Sangre Azteca, Virus b Flyer, Hombre Bala Jr., Tritón
Okumura replaced Boby on Monday.
3) Kamaitachi, Misterioso Jr., Sagrado b Delta, Dragon Lee, Guerrero Maya Jr.
4) Atlantis, Marco Corleone, Valiente b Felino, Pólvora, Rey Escorpión
5) La Máscara, La Sombra, Rush b Negro Casas, Thunder, Último Guerrero
Rush fouled UG.
6) Máximo & Terrible b Rey Bucanero & Volador Jr. [natl pi]
Maximo & Terrible won in straight falls when Bucanero & Volador had slightly more problems. Hair match talk followed the match.

A show. They had plaques for the winners, but it’s unclear if they ever got them. Things are so much on auto pilot that the CMLL recaps to Dragon Lee/Kamaitachi as a hair versus hair match.

The El Pancracio website is back with an article on a new Rene Guajardo book.

Electroshock says he’s going for the trios titles because it’s the only ones he’s yet to win.

Hijo del Santo, who is about to put out a book on lucha libre history, says lucha libre is agony and a carnival. So, the usual.

Fusion Sports came up with a unique idea: they’re going to run a trios tournament.

DJ Spectro writes about Las Irmas and the previous Pierroth.

Lineups

CMLL (FRI) 03/13/2015 Arena México
1) Esfinge & Starman vs Canelo Casas & Metálico
2) Goya Kong, Marcela, Princesa Sugehit vs Amapola, Dalys, Tiffany
3) Guerrero Maya Jr., Stuka Jr., Valiente vs Ephesto, Luciferno, Mephisto
4) Dragon Lee vs Kamaitachi [lightning]
5) La Máscara, La Sombra, Rush vs Euforia, Thunder, Último Guerrero
6) Atlantis, Máximo, Volador Jr. vs Rey Bucanero, Shocker, Terrible

The week prior to H2L has all the top matches in some form. Dragon Lee & Kamaitachi meet in another lightning match (so they’ll get on TV the week after the show takes place). The very exact semimain that’s happening on the major show is happening exactly the same on the show prior to it. Atlantis & Shocker are added to the main event to avoid exactly repeating that match, but they’ll probably spend a lot of time out of the way. The women’s match is even very close to the women’s match that’ll air on the show, and this show has the first team up of the Hijos del Infierno. I don’t understand the logic all that much.

Video preview, and another El Faraon video.
