Fuego vs Hombre sin Nombre in a lightning match: [ok] just your average random lightning match. Fuego did one or two slightly different things and no one had a misstep, but it was also the usual forgettable CMLL match. Hombre sin Nombre hasn’t really progressed at all since getting the character and he’s on TV so much more.
La Máscara, Super Porky, Titán vs Felino, Negro Casas, Shocker: [ok] a nothing match. Built around Super Porky and a Shocker/Mascara feud. It’s hard to be interested in either, and there were a few spots which have been seen twice every week for a while now. Porky was in a serious mood early but it turned into the usual stuff. Another weirdly timed break right before the finish, which the crowd was absolutely dead for. Felino trying to put a figure four on Brazo de Plata was a poor idea executed badly. There are worse matches that get OKs but, if you’ve been watching all the TV, this is one worth actively avoiding for repetitiveness.
Marco Corleone, Máximo, Valiente vs Euforia, Terrible, Thunder: [OK] fine for what it was. The idea was to have the three tallest rudos together as one amazing trio to take on the tallest técnico (and his two not tall friends), but it didn’t really go anywhere. The comeback and dive sequence at the end of the second fall was the best part of the match. Thunder continues to do Thunder things. The Terrible/Maximo feud seems stronger on TV than it reads in results, with Terrible fouling Máximo two straight weeks before next week’s match.
