Bengala dropped

Bengala & Robin vs Apocalipsis & Camorra: [below average] Boring opening match. There were some badly botched spots here in the second fall, and I have no idea what the boosted spot was supposed to be. There were also not as big spots which also did not look good. Robin needs to dump the jumping heel kick or get a lot better at it. I am not looking forward to Apocalipsis farewell mask match program in 2018. Or, really, the three years prior to it.

Leono is no help

Leono, Magnus, Sensei vs Artillero, Canelo Casas, Súper Comando: [OK] fine for a segunda, and crowd was really into the técnicos making a comeback in the third fall, but mostly just an average match. Peleton looked sharp and Magnus stood out with his purple and neon green outfit. Leono is another one I’m not sure why he exists; it’s that time of year to get a lot of those people extra bookings.

neon superkick
Stigma out cradles Raziel

Soberano Jr., Starman, Stigma vs Cholo, Nitro, Raziel: [OK] Soberano/Cholo build up, with the other rudos getting on the mask pulling business for lack of better thing to do. Raziel & Stigma were doing good mat work before all of that started. Those two were good again near the middle of the second fall, leading to Sitgma’s nifty cradle. Soberano didn’t get to do much but get beat up.

triple, er, double tope

Fuego, Rey Cometa, Super Porky vs Morphosis, Olímpico, Tiger: [OK] Again, sort of going half speed in front of a holiday crowd at a slow time. No one screwed anything up, but no one did anything they normally did not and Fuego & Cometa seemed to be doing their B-match. It wasn’t all Olímpico/Porky comedy but I ended up there.

clear foul here
front row is dangerous

Atlantis, Marco Corleone, Máximo vs Felino, Kráneo, Terrible: [OK] One more. They didn’t do anything that was interesting on TV but the crowd sounded totally into the match. A lot of guys who know how to play their characters well. They’ve just got to do the Kraneo/Marco match on one of these days where they’re not really concerned about anything but crowd reactions.

Mije laying the boots to Marco

Marcela vs Dalys: [OK] This is in the argument for best match on this show, but this show wasn’t much for best matches and it seemed like Dalys still missed a few spots. Marcela sometimes seems to just be walking between spots early on in matches, like everything’s way too easy for her, and it felt that way in this one. Still, they got in some good action and had some action in a longer than usual lightning match.

six pack is no defense for Marcela killer double stomp
