taped 2014-11-28 @ Salón Citlalli, Ecatepec de Morelos, Estado de México
Corsario Negro Jr., Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr., Juventud Guerrera vs Canek Jr., Hijo de Mascara Sagrada, Villano III Jr.: only a minute of it aired. They aired a lot of long interviews rather than wrestling, which may be for the better given the wrestling.
Canek, El Fantasma, Heavy Metal vs Fuerza Guerrera, Máscara Año 2000, Mr. Jack: [below average] I have so many things I could be watching, stuff I need to watch, stuff I said I’d watch, and I watched this. This is the clearest sign of my mental issues yet. Maybe watching people with obvious problems made me feel like I had problems. This was a tiny ring, and Canek still looked so slow. They could barely pull of a six man star spot because it was so small. TV cut out the comeback, because they cut out a lot of this match. The concept here is the wrestling your grandfather vaguely remembers, but there was so very little actual lucha libre on this show I’m not sure who would be satisfied by this show. At best, it’s group of people with various ideas of what kind of show they want to make (a news show, a commercial for upcoming shows – except those weren’t promoted here, or a classic lucha show) but those are all impeding on each other. I’m not sure what the finish was supposed to be and I’m not sure the referee knew what the finish was supposed to be until the post match announcement.

Just you wait, Cubs. The title match between Canek/Jack is a real doozy. I know it’s Canek, but that was one helluva anti-climactic end to his inaugral run as champ. Saw a fancam upped today for the new trios clocking in at about half an hour…
Is this a real promotion/show going forward? I hope so. It’s been a spectacular car crash into shit wrestling.
@Rah: This is a real promotion! The show at least starts to look a lot better when Tercera Caida takes over and they’re still taping shows, but eh.
