Cometa dead

recap

taped 2014-12-02 @ Arena Coliseo Guadalajara

the long lead up does seem to help the dropkick

Astral, Meteoro, Último Dragoncito vs Demus 3:16, Mercurio, Pequeño Olímpico: [OK] average minis match with Mercurio working very fast. He’s had a quietly good year in trios and losing the mask seems like the right decision in the long run. Meteoro did nothing memorable except for springboard moonsautling onto Demus’ feet for no apparent reason. It was right as Astral was winning the second fall and only served as a distraction. He looked better in other appearances, and also wasn’t murdered in those.

Olimpico falls hard
get out of the shot!
Demus Driver crushes Meteoro
Morphosis is very confident, should not be

Stuka Jr., Super Porky, Tritón vs Kráneo, Morphosis, Olímpico: [OK] Another toned down match with nothing much to write about. Super Porky vs Kraneo was the focus, but then the other rudos just suddenly beat the other técnicos and that was that. There’s a great, but un-GIF-able moment where Morphosis is supposed to run away from a Stuka dive and decides to scare some girls in the front row. They crack up. That was more amusing than the match.

rolllllllllllling suplex

Rey Cometa vs Sagrado in a lightning match: [OK] A better match than the two which came prior to it, but still definitely not one clicking on all gears. There were a few bumpy spots inter mixed with some good exchanges. Rey Cometa did a lot and Sagrado took a lot in this match, and there’s probably a better one possible if they had a few minutes or more practice working against each other. Rey Cometa winning with a move he never does was king of strange.

nice improv anyway
Guerrero team work

Atlantis, Máximo, Volador Jr. vs Euforia, Thunder, Último Guerrero: [OK] Another match which appears to have happened a dozen times in the last three months. This is no better or worse than any of the others, which is to say you absolutely do not need to see it. Ultimo Guerrero spent his time going after Atlantis mask, in a built up to a Ultimo Guerrero versus Volador match. This match included a moment where Thunder got confused on a double boot spot, so there’s that. There was another Thunder moment they obviously cut away from to cover up.

Volador, 2014
