Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr., Rey Cometa vs Boby Zavala, Misterioso Jr., Sagrado: [OK] B-show filler show which never got out of first gear with a pointless DQ finish. Something with Delta (the cartwheel roll headscissors?) went so bad that they edited out, which they almost never bother to do on the other shows. His double stomp on Sagrado did look good. So weird to see a double submission that’s been used here forever treated as illegal by Edgar, especially since they’re back to allowing that most of the time. The backwards lift into a post on the outside was not a foul. Sagrado wanted to kill the camera guy who was in the wrong spot on his thru the ropes clothesline.
Ángel de Oro, Máximo, Super Porky vs Pólvora, Terrible, Vangellys: [OK] Build up to the Pólvora/Titan title match, with Pólvora kicking out of various Titan moves before beating him with his brother’s finish. Otherwise a very ordinary match. Super Porky and Angel de Oro had the same match they usual have and Terrible and Vangellys did nothing memorable.
Dragón Rojo Jr., La Máscara, Volador Jr. vs Gran Guerrero, Mephisto, Thunder: [OK] The least energetic of the three, and with an even more pointless ending. I’m not sure I want to see Mascara/Volador but I’m not sure what the point of them feuding if they’re never going to do that match. I’m pretty sure either Thunder or Dragon Rojo forgot how to do a press slam in the first fall.
