Omar Brunetti vs Disturbio, hair vs hair: [OK] Really one sided for a hair match, with Disturbio just suffocating Omar for most of the match. Omar really didn’t get much in besides two topes (one of which might have meant to be a missed dive), and the finishing sequence. The idea still seems to build sympathy by having Omar get beat up, but it made his win come off as a undeserved (and it was clear Disturbio was carrying the match the whole way.) Finishing sequence being Cachorro’s dropkick and Leono’s elbow drop didn’t help prove anything about Omar’s skills. Crowd still was way into Omar winning so it probably doesn’t matter much; the young GDL winning big matches are over in the building but are not usually translating into matches you need to see.
Atlantis, Máscara Dorada, Volador Jr. vs Gran Guerrero, Mephisto, Último Guerrero: [OK] Another Atlantis/UG feuding match, with the bonus of Gran Guerrero cheating. Other guys were there, but pretty much everyone was just there. Even if there weren’t three dozen of these in this period, this one would be skippable. Mascara Dorada doesn’t just know a hold, he knows a hold that’s apparently super effective (but only the one hold since he did it for two straight finishes.) Mascara Dorada didn’t do much else in this match – this was definitely not one of those matches where a big crowd caused them to do more.
Marco Corleone vs Terrible: [GOOD] Liked this the most of any of the matches on this show, easily. There wasn’t a lot to it, they just swung at each other a lot and occasionally thought to do wrestling moves. The punches and chops didn’t seem to have a lot of effect (at least individually), but they looked good – Marco’s punches and Terrible’s hair shake are a good combination. The wrestling moves were more successful but the punches were more fun. Would be fine running this back as a title match but that’s never going to happen for whatever reason.

Jesus Christ, how big is CMLL? I’ve meant to ask this a long time ago, it’s just out of nowhere a seemingly random apuesta match pops up between some dudes I’ve never heard of, i.e. Pegueno Warrior vs. some guy few months ago in a great match.
