Tercera Caida had Black Terry on as a guest, and split up the post show conversation into a lot of questions: Terry talks about his movie appearance, his upcoming schedule, working as a referee in TxT, his championships and hair wins, the Temerarios, the injuries he’s suffered, his son, his pick for the biggest idol of lucha libre, his thoughts on the current lucha libre scene, and Black Terry’s social media presence.

CMLL has yesterday’s Informa here. Not a lot news, but plenty of cranky Virus. Also, Mr. Niebla and Zacarias explain how to get to Arena Mexico. You wouldn’t think that would be the best pair for that, but they’ve got subway instructions and bus instructions and outside video footage walking to the building – someone did some work here!

AAA held a press conference yesterday to announce new sponsor Helados Holanda, an ice cream dessert company. They’d previously turned up on AAA shows as a sponsor, but this was to make an official and talk about a contest where winners can get various AAA prizes (including a trip to a Hard Rock show.)

SuperLuchas takes on an issue of great importance: frequent mispellings on lucha libre posters. This is the scourge of my existence. More people have been able to spell “Myzteziz” than I would’ve guessed, but far from all of them. It’s tougher with local guys, since it’s impossible to tell if people are spelling their names for semi-unique/semi-inexplicable “Centvrion” like reasons or if the promoter or the person putting together the poster just wasn’t paying attention.

Dragon Rojo talks to ESTO about his career and tecnico change. In this telling, Dragon Rojo Sr. is his grandfather. Rojo’s short term goal is to be in a mask match at an Anniversary show.

Cronicas Y Leyendas look back at Joe Polardy and Perro Aguayo losing their hair and Ringo Mendoza vs Tony Benetto. The Tony Benetto thing has always confused me – he was around and a name for several years (an Anniversary show apuesta match there), then became the latest Gran Markus. There aren’t that many guys his size to begin with, everyone kind of had to immediately realize who under the Gran Markus mask which seems to defeat the point.

Texano attempted to steal Terrible away to AAA yesterday. No, literally. The AAA guys were headed on a bus to San Luis Potosi, while the CMLL guys were headed to Leon for the show they were promoting heavily on Terra and their buses just crossed paths along the way.
