1) Flyer & Leono b Camorra & Espanto Jr.
2) Black Panther, Gallo, Súper Halcón Jr. DQ Arkángel de la Muerte, Artillero, Súper Comando Straight falls, Gallo beating Arkangel in the first and Arkangel pulling Gallo’s mask in the second.
3) Amapola, Tiffany, Zeuxis b Estrellita, Goya Kong, Lluvia Rudas took 2/3, Zeuxis beating Estrellita again.
4) Tritón b Shigeo Okumura [lightning] Triton 450 splash for the win.

6) La Máscara, Stuka Jr., Valiente b Boby Zavala, Mephisto, Terrible Tecnicos took 1/3.
The band Las Victimas del Dr. Cerebro was in attendance. No angles, unless Zeuxis getting a title shot against Estrellita is actually happening – no title challenges yet.
CMLL (TUE) 06/03/2014Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [@acogdl]
1) El Divino b Magnum
2) Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Violencia, Pierrothito b Astral, Eléctrico, Meteoro Meteoro replaced Dragoncito, who’s missed consecutive shows. Rudos took 1/3.
3) Dragón Rojo Jr., Ephesto, Olímpico b Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr., Smaker Rudos took 2/3.
4) Máximo & Super Porky b Kráneo & Pólvora Polvora replaced Misterioso. Tecnicos took 2/3.
5) Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Último Guerrero b Atlantis, Blue Panther, Volador Jr. Rudos took 2/3.

Not a lot of details on Rush/Casas.
AAA has two TV tapings this week, starting tonight in Celaya. The card is in a weird place; it’ll air hours before Verano de Escandalo, but it’s mostly a lame duck show with that card not announced. As with all recent AAA TV tapings, the main event has mystery men listed on both sides. Averno is likely on the rudo side. Mistico/Sin Cara/whatever will likely make an appearance before the night is over, but it seems likely his first match will take place at Verano de Escandalo and someone else will be on the tecnico side tonight. The semifinal may reveal some future plans – Consejo gets yet another shot at Psycho Circus and trios championship. There’s a thought the Psycho Circus will lose the trios titles, to set up Psycho Clown being spun off onto his own and being replaced in the trio. Psycho Clown really doesn’t need to team regularly with his partners, because AAA doesn’t have frequent title defenses, but a new Psycho Circus ultimately winning the trios titles back would legitimize the new member. In the short term, Texano might get a win so it looks like he has a chance at Verano de Escandalo.
There are seven women in the Reina de Reinas title shot match, but there’s only six who care about winning it. Sexy Star explained she doesn’t care about getting a title shot, because she feels she’s still champion since she never lost. If someone wants to give her a direct title match, that’s fine, but she doesn’t feel she needs to earn one. Maybe she’ll help Taya instead?
Mistico/Sin Cara, Blue Demon Jr., Averno, Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Cibernetico, Villano IV, Psycho Circus, Daga and Chessman are being advertised for the 07/03 AAA TV taping in Xalapa.
Arturo Beristain talks about training luchador and still giving advice after his students make the CMLL roster. Tanque Infernal, Luzebl Jr., Sucesor, Magnetico and Palomo Rouse are mentioned as training with him currently.
Ricky Marvin wants the Veracruz government – and the governor himself – to give more support to lucha libre in his home state. This is just billed as Ricky Marvin, luchador, but I think he might be promoting shows as well.
Dralion vs Arez has been added to the 07/05 LuchaMania show.
Kaiser Sports has an onetwothree part interview with CMLL edecan Ana Karina. She’s working on a reggae album.
Lucha Libre in Japan
06/04 NJPW: Ricochet b Mascara Dorada [BOSJ, match 5]
Mascara Dorada is 3-2, six points, actually tied for first, but he probably needed to get this one to advance. He’s got BUSHI tomorrow and Matt Jackson the day after to finish up.
Lineups
CMLL (TUE) 06/10/2014Arena México
1) Molotov & Robin vs Cholo & Inquisidor
2) Aéreo, Bam Bam, Stukita vs Mercurio, Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Warrior
3) Pegasso, Rey Cometa, Tritón vs Misterioso Jr., Sangre Azteca, Skándalo
4) Gallo vs Arkángel de la Muerte [lightning]
5) Ángel de Oro, Fuego, Sagrado vs Boby Zavala, Tiger, Vangellys
6) Titán, Valiente, Volador Jr. vs Ephesto, Mephisto, Puma
Main event looks like fun.
The Arkangel/Gallo feud moves to the match that doesn’t air. This is a big development for the 1000-1500 people who go to Tuesday shows.
Why is Pequeno Warrior on all the cards?
No Esterllita/Zeuxis.
CMLL (TUE) 06/10/2014Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Leo & Metatrón vs Mr. Trueno & Rey Trueno
2) Esfinge, Sky Kid, Smaker vs Cancerbero, Espectrum, Raziel
3) Hombre Bala, Stuka Jr., Super Halcon vs Kamaitachi, Maléfico, Shigeo Okumura
4) Marco Corleone, Máximo, Super Porky vs Mr. Águila, Rey Bucanero, Terrible
5) La Máscara, La Sombra, Rush vs Gran Guerrero, Shocker, Último Guerrero
They actually teamed up the evil trio instead of spilling them among different matches. Good job!
Tercera could be good.
WUW MEXICO (SUN) 06/15/2014 Estadio Primero de Mayo, Tulancingo, Hidalgo

6) Crimson Wraith, Gigante Karnov, Naruto vs Amo de la Noche, Lanzeloth, Sangre Guerrera
7) Super Crazy vs Crazy Boy, Violento Jack, Aero Boy [explosives]
WUW is the Johnny Rodz promotion which has been sending random people to Mexico. More random people here! I must’ve missed CrazyMania 1 thru 3, hope I can still follow the plot here. Main event has a ring with explosions, which may make it tough for a CrazyMania V.

CMLL (MON) 06/02/2014Arena Puebla [Periodico Enfoque]
1) Flyer & Robin b Fuerza Chicana & Siki Ozama Jr.
2) Blue Center, Pequeño Warrior, Saurón b Astral, Asturiano, Eléctrico Asturiano ended up with an arm injury, then Warrior pulled Asturiano’s mask and beat him.
3) Kamaitachi, Puma, Shigeo Okumura b Rey Cometa, Stigma, Stuka Jr. Rudos took 1/3
4) Kráneo, Morphosis, Ripper b Ángel de Oro, Blue Panther, Titán Rudos took 2/3. Angel de Oro returns with a loss.
5) Pólvora, Rey Escorpión, Shocker b Atlantis, La Sombra, Marco Corleone Shocker snuck in a foul on Sombra for the win.
Asturiano versus Pequeno Black Warrior appears to be the Arena Puebla Anniversary main event, which seems very unkind to the Arena Puebla fans. Asturiano’s very good, but he could use better competition.
CMLL’s Tuesday show has nothing in particular. The CMLL preview hypes the return of Angel de Oro, who actually returned last night but close enough. His match, with Rey Cometa & Fuego versus Rey Escorpion, Morphosis and Kamaitachi, might end up being the best on the show. Main event is La Mascara, Valiente, Stuka versus Terrible, Mephisto, and Boby Zavala.
The more interesting CMLL show today is over in Guadalajara, with a Negro Casas versus Rush main event. That should air on 06/14, but the Guadalajara shows have had short edited matches the last couple of weeks. This is their second singles match – the last was in November – and while they still tease a hair match occasionally, it doesn’t appear to be in the plans any time soon.
Sin Cara, Argenis, Black Warrior and Averno refused to wrestle on Sunday in Campeche due to issues with the promoters. It appears they were working a two match weekend swing in the area, but the promoter didn’t pay them after Saturday and they walked out when he still didn’t pay him on Sunday. The local luchadors on the show are taking up a legal complaint, saying the promoters didn’t pay the top guys for their hotels or the transportation. The promoters are said to owe 150,000 pesos ($11,598) to various people in total. It was inevitable the Sin Cara post-WWE tour around Mexico would run into promoters who were in over their head, but it’s still disappointing when it happens.
Taya says she and Sexy Star will work together to make sure one of La Sociedad will win the Reina de Reinas title shot match.
Gallo seems a good bet to keep the title, since he’s still feuding with Arkangel half the time. Mr. Aguila has almost only been working Sunday Arena Coliseo Guadalajara shows of late, which seem the least valuable to work. That may just be skewed due to the lack of TV, but it has seemed as though Aguila’s previous issues got a response in CMLL’s booking.
CMLL (MON) 06/09/2014Arena Puebla
1) Leono, Magnus, Paris vs Akuma, Ares, Espíritu Maligno
2) Astral, Asturiano, Eléctrico vs Blue Center, Pequeño Warrior, Saurón
3) Ángel de Oro, Pegasso, Tritón vs Sangre Azteca, Skándalo, Virus
4) Atlantis, Marco Corleone, Máximo vs Rey Bucanero, Rey Escorpión, Terrible
5) La Sombra vs Shocker
Sombra/Shocker should be interesting. As will Sombra versus whoever replaces Shocker.

(It’s not mentioned if they are or are not related.) 5) Yakuza b Holkan [mask] Double pin in the first fall, DCOR in the second fall. Bloody third fall, with Yakuza winning via martinete. Holkan is Juan Manuel Carbajal Tena, from Neza. 6) Negro Navarro, Trauma I, Trauma II b Barba Roja, Pirata Morgan, Pirata Morgan Jr. 7) Gallego L Black Terry and Rocky Santana [hair] Black Terry escaped first, and Santana beat Gallego 8) Canek b Dr. Wagner Jr., Octagón, Fuerza Guerrera [Copa Universo] Octagon defeated Fuerza, Wagner beat Octagon, Canek pulled Wagner’s mask and beat him for the win.
All the undercard guys who lost their apuesta matches are regulars here; there’s no random people being brought in for the occasion.
This is the new 70s/80s/early 90s promotion, which was said to do well in it’s first show in Coliseo Coacalco. This building was much too big for them this time out. Super Bolido messed up his arm badly – dislocated elbow? – and there’s video here if you really want to see.
IWRG (SUN) 06/01/2014Arena Naucalpan [IWRG]
1) Alan Extreme & Metaleon b Atomic Star & Electro Boy Alan Extreme replaced Latigob
2) Atomic Star & Mini Cobra b Mini Imperium & Oficialito AK47 Atomic Star replaced Dragoncito de Oro. Mini Imperium’s debut. Straight falls.
3) Apolo Estrada Jr., Avisman, El Hijo del Diablo b Alan Extreme, Dr. Cerebro, Relámpago Doc submitted Apolo, but Apolo hit Doc with a chair and Diablo got the pin.
4) Máscara Sagrada, Pantera, Veneno b Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Trauma I, Trauma II Pantera’s first match here since August and Sagrada’s first match since 2012. Tecnicos took 1/3. Pirata faked a foul from Sagrada in the second, Sagrada fouled him and faked a foul in the third. Pantera tried a tope on Trauma I in the third, but Trauma I just moved out of the way and Pantera crashed and burned.
5) Dr. Wagner Jr., Grond XXX, Hijo De Dos Caras b Demon Clown, Eterno, Hijo de Máscara Año 2000 Groon’s match here since 2008. Tecnicos took 2/3. A man in an LA Park mask attacked Wagner after the match, then ran away.
IWRG recaps says it was the actual LA Park who attacked Wagner, but unless LA Park has transporter technology (possible) he was in Arena Coliseo Monterrey while this show was going on. Dr. Wagner did not take kindly to this, and they’ve set up some sort of match for 06/15. You can see Pantera’s dive to nowhere; Trauma I is unapologetic about his dodge.
LuchaMania Monterrey has announced their first match for their 07/05 upcoming show: Charles Lucero vs Black Terry. That’ll be good!
There’s either a loaded AAA house show or a TV taping on 07/15 in Nogales. That’s about when a taping should happen, but there’s no mention of television to go with Sin Cara, Averno, Cibernetico, Psycho Circus and others. No matches announced.

Why are Bombero and Terry on opposite sides? (Because that’s what they have on the poster.) Neza vs Oficials in the semimain, many people making their ‘main show’ debuts in the undercard.
The original plan for the finish looked to like Titan was going to reverse the middle Furia Roja into a fujiwara, but Titan slipped, then tried to just catch Niebla Roja as he came down but that didn’t work quite right either. This match was still good, though a step below the earlier big Titan matches. I think I’m also a little jaded by the En Busca de un Idolo matches, because I expect their craziness everywhere.
Unclear if Marco working with Sombra & Mascara was meant to be just a one time thing, but he implied as such on Twitter.
CMLL (SUN) 06/01/2014Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [@acogdl] 1) El Tapatío b Marvel 2) El Brillante & William Rock b Furia Nazi & Jocker Tecnicos took 1/3. 3) Rey Trueno b Virgo 4) Boby Zavala, Cavernario, Demonio Maya b Black Metal, Esfinge, Gallo Rudos took 2/3. Zavala challenged Gallo to a title match. 5) Exterminador b Évola [hair] Evola fouled Exterminador in the first and got the pin, but Exterminador came back and won the next two. 6) Sagrado, Super Porky, Volador Jr. DQ Dragón Rojo Jr., Euforia, Mr. Águila Tecnicos took 1/3, Euforia fouling Volador.
Gallo versus Bobby Zavala will be a thing.
This week’s AAA TV announced the post Verano de Escandalo schedule. AAA takes off the weekend of 06/13, then return to action on 06/20 in Puebla, 06/27 in Queretaro and 07/03 in Xalapa (which is already being promoted locally.) Basically, they’re running every weekend and not in Mexico City; there’s no way AAA is actually pulling off the 10-12 tapings in Gimnasio Juan de la Barrera they originally promised unless they start running a lot of them back to back. It doesn’t really matter to anyone but the Mexico City Sports Department, but it’s weird they promised to do something like that in the first place.
Soldado Diabolico lost his mask to Dave the Clown in an Arena Queretaro cage match. He was revealed as Fidel García, 25 yeards old, 8 a luchador. Dandy beat Satanico in the semifinal.
06/01 NJPW: Mascara Dorada b Jushin Lyger [BOSJ, match 3]. Dorada improves to 2-1. The next show is on 06/03, where Dorada will automatically go to 3-1 since that would’ve been his Alex Koslov match. Dorada’s next actual match is on 06/04 versus Ricochet; if he can win that one, he’s got a real chance of making the next round.
Lineup
CMLL (SUN) 06/08/2014Arena Coliseo 1) Molotov & Sensei vs El Rebelde & Zayco 2) Bam Bam, Eléctrico, Fantasy vs Pequeño Olímpico, Pequeño Universo 2000, Pequeño Warrior 3) Oro Jr., Sagrado, Tritón vs Metálico, Puma, Skándalo 4) Valiente vs Vangellys [lightning] 5) Blue Panther, Fuego, La Máscara vs Gran Guerrero, Niebla Roja, Virus 6) Atlantis, Máximo, Rush vs Felino, Negro Casas, Rey Escorpión
Kind of an ordinary show. Los Indeseable on different teams to make two matches rough. Valiente and Vangellys just happened a month ago. Metalico/Oro Jr. looks like it’s headed to a Sunday mask match show a few weeks from now.
