AAA-Televisa: The preview reveals the top 3 matches will air on TV, which means Bengala’s match isn’t cut this week. Three matches is less than usual. The show is still listed as 90 minutes, so I’m not sure why it’s only three. One or both the undercard matches could show up on UTDN.

== CMLL ==

FOX: At 1pm this week. Atlantis vs Ultimo Guerrero, Marco/Titan/Valiente vs Rojo/Ephesto/Mephisto.

52MX: Last week was 2/3/4. That would include a Azul/Rafaga title match and Black Panther & Cachorro vs Tiger & Puma tag match this week.

Claro: Last week here was top 3, and assuming that going forward. Sombra vs Rey Escorpion.

C3: Atlantida vs Guerreros and Zavala/Ephesto/Terrible vs Cometa/Panther/Fuego are the two unaired matches.

TVC Deportes (Puebla): Show listed at 8pm this week, giving you enough time to eat a meal and stretch your legs after Sunday’s Terra show. Rey Escorpion vs La Mascara in a title match, Puebla vs Gen14 cibernetico with Hechicero.

Lucha Azteca: The Odiosos vs Peste Negra/Ripper brawl.

Terra Friday: A shorter show than usual, only the first four matches are lined up to air. There’s another Sugehit/Blanca match, and En Busca matches with Cavernario/Soberano and Cachorro/Super Halcon Jr.

Terra Sunday: Mascara Dorada, Volador and Valiente vs Rush, Sombra and La Mascara. Also, more Zayco/Magnus

Terra Tuesday: Metalico and Oro Jr. on opposite sides, and the final week of this round of En Busca de un Idolo wraps up with

This looks like the final Tuesday broadcast for the time being.

Noches de Coliseo: Super Jack? Probably Super Jack.

IWRG (LAS/AYM): They’ve already started airing last Sunday’s show, so that should turn up in full this weekend with Demon Clown and Dr. Wagner. On AYM, the full airing of the show is now Saturday afternoon; the late Sunday airing is LAS only.

1) Zurdog b Black Niko
2) Electro Boy & Fulgor II b Alfa & Omega
3) Ángel Del Amor, Golden Magic, Látigo b Fulgor, Hijo De La Bestia, Imposible
Hijo de la Bestia had a falling out with his partners.
4) Oficial AK47 b Hijo de Máscara Año 2000 [super libre]
AK47 took 1/3 and demanded a shot at the Rey de Reyes title. Hijo del Pirata Morgan is getting a shot first, on Sunday.
5) Apolo Estrada Jr., Avisman, El Hijo del Diablo b Alan Extreme, Relámpago, Veneno [EdM Trios]
Gringos VIP are champions and kept the titles by taking fall 1/3. Third defense. Gringos want a shot at the tag team titles.

Again, they’re back to the blue mats on Wednesday. They must only be sponsored on Sundays.

Furia de Titanes and Medio Tempo have articles on DTU’s press conference. Their tour is five shows, 05/16 (Arena Queretaro), 05/17 (Arena Roberto Paz in Guadalajara), 05/20 (Arena Aficion in Pachuca), 05/24 (Deportivo Pavon, DF) and 05/25 (Poza Rica.) No home show in Tulancingo. All the lineups are as announced – except at the press conference, Flamita announced his 05/20 match with Shane Strickland, Kaleth and Drastick Boy will now be for the Open the Brave Gate championship. (I guess Drastick Boy gave away the surprise.) DTU’s also pushing having different divisions strongly: Extermos, Alto Impacto, DTU Chicas (previously Femenil) are familiar, Nexo is for tag teams and Suicida is for flyers where no objects can be used and wins must only be by pinfall.

This week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter believes the mystery people on the upcoming AAA tapings are Averno and Bengala (not Sin Cara.)

Rob has highlights of late May to early June 2001.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update and recaps the week 6 of En Busca de un Idolo.

Tercera Caida has Princesa Sugehit as guest. They’ve also posted a nine minute after the show video.

CMLL has a story on Mascara Dorada’s next trip to NJPW, announced for May 22 to June 8th. A Mascara Dorada card is being added to the NJPW playing card game.

Metalico says he’s not a rudo, he’s just moody. My gosh, I’m actually Metalico. Metalico insists Oro Jr. will not make a name off of him and so has no interested in the mask match right now. Note they still think the injury happened in Copa Junior.

Informador has an article about the lucha libre bus that takes people to Arena Coliseo Guadalajara. This one predates the Mexico City TuriLuchas program, and includes a free beer with the package. It’s a bar who organizes it.

R de Rudo has video a four way tag match from the WMC show.

Kcidis celebrates maestros and puts some of his artwork for sale.

Furia de Titanes interviews Halcon 2000, who’s the Humo Lightweight champion. Humo seems to be using a lot of the people who were working for IWL, even the same guy who was making the posters and IWL hasn’t been heard from quite a while (one show announced for March, have to go back to December before that.) I’m not sure if IWL is gone, but it seems like it’s been replaced.
