Tecnicos took 2/3.
That’s the finish I wanted for this feud. Wednesday show have yet to catch on with the fans, but it’s not like Thursday shows were doing much better.
WWL’s recap of Sunday’s show alludes to a return to Mexico in May.
Forbes Mexico has a story about the plans for merchandising AAA in the US. (They definitely should do that!) It’s like on new details outside of a hard to understand “we’ve invested 20 million dollars of contracts” mention. You know, if they’re only going to focus on a few people at first and slowly get to the whole roster, why do they have someone “redesigning and modernizing 250 characters”? Seems like a waste of time to be working on an updated Espantapájaros III. This is the kind of things I start to think about when I read the same canned blurbs for the 50th time.
Last night’s Tercera Caida had Black Warrior as in studio guest. He talked more after the cameras, including his thoughts about the new Black Panther.
ChilangaMask announced Black Terry versus Aeroboy for their April 27th show. Tercera Caida has aired promos with Silueta, Zeuxis and Estrella Explosiva (from Guadalajara) challenging for matches over the last month or so. Those promos are context-less and haven’t hinted where the matches would be happening, but it seems like the sort of thing ChilangaMask would orchestrate (but I don’t know for sure.) Maybe for that 04/27 show, with plenty of time to add luchadoras. They also announced Los Traumas and Impulso & Belial for their May western tour.
In his weekly column, Octagon says the real reason Blue Demon Jr. missed the WWL shows was AAA pulled him from the shows. Definitely possible, but Demon did seem to miss the AAA show too.
Adam Pearce says he’s not on that 03/28 Tijuana show (poster here), which means that whole weird show is a question mark.
