WWL (SUN) 03/09/2014 Domo del Deportivo Plan Sexenal, Distrito Federal [Estrellas del Ring, La WagnerMania, R de Rudo, Terra]
Attendance: 1000
1) X-Fly b Cíclope, Violento Jack, Drastik Boy
2) Yuka DQ Paloma Rouse, Chik Tormenta
3) Leon Apolo b Cien Caras Jr.
4) Broke the Clown, Dave The Clown, Rothen Clown b Astro Rey Jr., El Hijo del Medico Asesino, Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr.
Astro Rey did a dive from the top of the light tower, but his partners turned on him again and gave him a martinete. The Clown Corp won.
5) Juventud Guerrera & Ricky Marvin b Picudo & Relámpago (Coahuila)
Marvin & Juvi asked for a tag title match
6) Mr. E & Sexy B DCOR Hijo De Dos Caras & Sicodélico Jr. [WWL TAG]
Mr. E & Sexy B are champions. Everyone got counted out for the draw.
7) Fuerza Guerrera, Skayde, Zumbi b Mil Mascaras, Octagón, Vengador Radioactivo
Announced as a singles match, but the idea was Fuerza came with back up so Octagon got help and it turned into a trios match. Fuerza did tie Octagon to the top rope.
8) Monster Pain b Carlito, Chavo Guerrero Jr. [WWL WORLD]
Monster Pain is champion. Chavo and Carlito replaced Blue Demon Jr. Monster Pain beat Chavo.

Attendance guess comes from the Terra recap; that’s not a sell out (though it’s not like they were going to make money on this show with a sell out.) Every match was changed from the promoted lineup. Doesn’t like Sabu missing the show was ever announced. Fourth match seems to indicate there’s plans for another show, but no date was announced.

Terra’s recap lists Skayde as his El Seminastria character. Maybe that’s how gets around not having to unmask? Is that how he’s actually doing it in IWRG? (Or was that really just about hassling Silver King/AAA?)

IWRG (SUN) 03/09/2014 Arena Naucalpan [The Gladiatores]
1) Alfa & Hip Hop Man b Látigo & Matrix Jr.
Straight falls. Latigo replaced MS-1 Jr.
2) Espectrito (IWRG), La Sádica, Tupac Amaru Jr. b Emperador Azteca, La Magnifica, Mini Multifacetico
“Sadik Maiden” was actually Magnifica, though the TV announcers had no idea who she was (or she’s changed her name.) Definitely a new Espectrito – this one’s thin!
3) Rayan, Spartaco, Spartan b Chico Che, Diva Salvaje, Miss Gaviota
Spartaco beat Chico Che.
4) Black Terry, Dr. Cerebro, Veneno DQ Oficial 911, Oficial AK47, Tony Rivera
Rudos were DQed in the first for excessive violence. Rudos tied it up in the second. Terry fouled Rivera and faked a foul – crowd convinced the referee that Terry was innocent so his team got the win.
5) Golden Magic, Relámpago, Súper Nova b Apolo Estrada Jr., El Hijo del Diablo, Hijo de Máscara Año 2000
Tecnicos took 1/3.

They drew better than I would’ve considering given the WWL show. (And Relampago made both!) The Super Nova/Apolo feud played up last week wasn’t as much here – or maybe it’s a trios feud now? Dunno.

Rey de Reyes is six days away and there hasn’t been any official mention on the show being on iPPV. AAA never promised they’d have a deal done for iPPVs for this show, just that were trying to get a deal done in time, and the deal doesn’t look to have gotten done. I’m skeptical they’ll do much the first time out for a non-TripleMania after the last disaster, but they’re running out of time to promote at all – if there’s not a surprise announcement in the next 24 hours or so, I’d probably not happening. Rey de Reyes should start airing on TV next Saturday; I’d like to see it live, but it’s just a six day extra wait (and maybe some editing.)
