These were good for a ton of gifs.
Carta Brava Jr., El Apache, Fresero Jr., Mamba vs Aerostar, Ludxor, Súper Fly, Venum (taped 01/17 @ Arena Naucalpan): This may have been the first time a team broke up over arguing about who was going to do a backdrop. And Aerostar seemed like the guy in the wrong there, or at least the guy who steps in the way is usually the guy who’s wrong in these situations. I guess it all goes out of the window when Super Fly outright clotheslines his partner. Aerostar had a tough match, from a slip on the first big spot to the finish not going right, but there was good stuff in between and this was generally an okay opener. Venum had a good night, especially his escape bit, and Fresero looked impressive by beating up much smaller people. His fan club must’ve been thrilled.
Argenis, Dinastía, Gotita de Plata vs Argos, Mini Charly Manson, Mini Psycho Clown (taped 01/30 @ Gimnasio Agustin Millan): Disappointing. Argos and Argenis have actually had looked decent against each other, though you’d be hard pressed to believe that after this match. Argos, and his teammates, weren’t really good at making the rudos look good or even taking much care of them. Argos was not where he needed to be multiple times, only succeeding in making his opponents look bad. Doing the big (if very slow motion) headscissors piledriver only for Argos tog et up and beat up Argenis made everything pointless and the crowd didn’t care a bit. Gotita was okay and had some highlights but deserves better opponents; so did Dinastía.
