Fusion (SUN) 02/23/2014 Arena Fusion, Ecatepec, Estado de México [Black Terry Jr. (Flickr), Estrellas del Ring, The Gladiatores]
1) Cobra & Zurdog b Sombra Azteca & Testat
2) Chica Sarcasma & Felina Metalica vs Baby Star & Davinha
3) La Vaquerita b Keira
4) Chica Ye-Ye, Diva Salvaje, Picudo Jr. b Camaleón, Enviado del Infierno, Psico Kid
5) Ludark Shaitan b La Magnifica [FUSION KAWAI]
Ludark retained her title in a hardcore match.
Main event looks bloody. Keira mentioned to R de Rudo that she’s been out for a while with a knee injury, but back wrestling now. Her match with Vaquerita isn’t mentioned in one recap, and Vaquerita’s name is omitted in another recap, but it’s clearly her. I’m definitely missing something.
CMLL (MON) 02/24/2014 Arena Puebla [El Popular, Periodico Enfoque]
1) Ares & King Jaguar b Águila Egipcia & Black Tiger
Straight falls.
2) Astral, Asturiano, Eléctrico b Pequeño Warrior, Pierrothito, Saurón
3) Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr., Pegasso b Boby Zavala, Kamaitachi, Shigeo Okumura
4) Blue Panther, Máximo, Rush DQ Dragón Rojo Jr., Rey Escorpión, Shocker
Tecnicos took 1/3. Shocker got annoyed and fouled Rush.
5) Cavernario, Felino, Mr. Niebla b Máscara Dorada, Mistico, Valiente
Cavernario replaced Negro (injury.) Straight falls. Niebla asked for a world trios shot next week.
They didn’t plan to have Cavenrario in this match, but it’s a decent way around one new trios champs not losing to another one.
Apolo Valdes mentioned yesterday CMLL will hold a press conference Thursday to announce the Dos Leyenda main event. That’s still expected to be Rush vs Shocker vs Negro Casas, though Negro Casas is out for the next two weeks with a collarbone injury. That should still be fine ahead of 03/21.
Tonight’s CMLL has Triton and Bobby Zavala in the main event of a Nuevo Valores show. Triton teams with La Mascara & Maximo while Zavala has Averno & Mephisto partners. Semimain is New Peste Negra verus Reyes del Atlantida.
LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update and this week’s Postermania.
The El Sabor del Ring Facebook says CMLL on TV Azteca would air at 4 pm, and they just haven’t figured out what day. This seems like a game of Clue (and is generally tougher to believe.)
LuchaMania Monterrey interviews La Parka.
Rey Misterio Sr. visited the new Tijuana lucha libre exhibition.

4) Black Metal & Leo vs Exterminador & Sádico
5) Máscara Dorada, Stuka Jr., Valiente vs Maléfico, Niebla Roja, Ráfaga

Non-title. Polvora shouldn’t have a chance, but Mistico is random. Stuka/Rafaga feud continues in the semimain.

Alan & Veneno vs Oficials continues.
Terry & Skayde on the same team?
Andy Boy & Orion were here in 2013 as Tony Rivera trainees. He’s back so maybe so are they.

It is very interesting for me what CMLL going to do with Mistico/Polvora feud. Could it be some build up for something big? I think that You’re right Cubsfan and iwinning title by Mistico is some way connected to Sin Cara I/Mistico I apearence in AAA. Actually, I would like to see that “Mistico wars” =)
