I was not paying close attention to this show, but the tercera was said to be the best women’s match in CMLL this year. People who watched the main event said Shocker looked in no condition to perform; I saw the post match interview and that appeared to be correct.
Crowd was strangely up for the show, making Marcela/Amapola the second highest drawing women’s title match of the weekend.
CMLL (SUN) 12/29/2013 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [@acogdl]

Sangre fouled Titan.
8) Blue Panther & Súper Popular b Averno & Mephisto [Copa Caja Popular Atemajac, final]
Yay third place games. Mr. Aguila & Sangre Azteca are a real team, no one no showed, it was just a magical team of the guy who gets a 1000 chances and the guy who maybe got 1. I selected the result for the main event before they posted it because it was the least surprising thing ever.
Atlantis, Shocker and La Mascara defeated Ultimo Guerrero, Mr. Niebla and Villano IV on the latest Fuerza Imperial show. V4 fouled Atlantis, which annoyed both Atlantis and Guerrero. Mask challenges followed. Villano III Jr. and Kortiz & Kaving (Villano V’s sons) wrestled in opening matches. This show, in a smaller building, still didn’t draw well.
AAA is running polls for tecnico of the year, rudo of the year, and revelacion of the year. I am saving my voter fraud skills for another occasion, but the blog endorses Pentagon Jr. for any and all awards. Jack and Faby are both good choices in the tecnico award unless you can figure away to vote for Pentagon Jr. there too. No one tell Fenix he’s not on any of these lists, it’s just going to cause him to be unhappy on Twitter again and no one wants that.
