No IWRG last night. The first leg of the LigaMX final was last night (for the first time ever, on a cable channel – Fox Sports) which might be the reason. Leon beat national favorite America 2-0, which probably made Cibernetico and Octagon sad.

Lucas posted this in the comments days ago, I just remembered to post it up here today. Titan didn’t make the elimination match but Yuriko did by surprise. Tercera Caida had highlights from the show (outdoors in front of a church) and interviewed the ex-AAA exotico, who explained a little bit why they left. Yuriko said he wanted to be a tecnico, was unhappy for a while and is much happier now that he left. Still is weird timing to be with AAA for years (back to the Night Queens) and quit before a rare actual big match.
Impulso was scheduled to be in the main event, but got into a car accident. He didn’t wrestle but he did make the show. I don’t know if being in a car crash or being in a Tournament of Death is worse on your body. I’ve only been in one of those and it’s not a fun time.
CMLL Gaceta previews tonight’s CMLL main event as Volador and Mistico hanging on Titan’s coattails. At least that’s what I’ve decided what the graphic means. They face Ultimo Guerrero, Niebla Roja and Psicosis II/Psis Reaper/Reapper/Ripper/Fred in the continuing Volador/Invasors feud. Next week kicks off the Leyenda de Plata tournament, CMLL will occasionally pair a singles match with a cibernetico, so perhaps a Ripper/Volador singles match will be set up tonight. The other match of extra interest is the Terra main event: Blue Panther versus Negro Casas in a 10 minute match, reuniting their feud of 21 months ago. Tercera (Avernos vs Atlantida) looks good.
