CMLL (MON) 10/21/2013 Arena Puebla [El Popular]
1) Ares & Toro Bill Jr. b Black Tiger & Paris
2) Astral, Eléctrico, Último Dragoncito b Pequeño Violencia, Pierrothito, Saurón
Dragoncito was an announced substitute for Bam Bam and beat Violencia.
3) Estrellita, Goya Kong, Marcela b Amapola, Dallys la Caribeña, Princesa Blanca
Goya splashed all three rudas.
4) Tama Tonga, Terrible, Vangellys b Máximo, Rush, Titán
Maximo & Titan replaced Marco & Thunder, while Tama replaced Bucanero. Vangellys snuck in a foul on Rush for the win.
5) Máscara Dorada, Mistico, Valiente b Dragón Rojo Jr., Pólvora, Rey Escorpión [CMLL TRIOS]
Mr. Niebla was originally announced, but replaced by (the more logical) Dragon Rojo ahead of time. Estetas came in as champions. Polvora beat Mistico in the second, Mistico beat Polvora in the second, Dragon Rojo Dragon Bombed Valiente in the third but Mistico got Escorpion with La Mistica to win the match. Fourth defense.
That’s the last the title defense for the time with Valiente off to Japan (though it didn’t stop Kraneo from looking for a title match for the Invasors based on tonight’s show.) I believe the Estetas/Avernos trios match being built up on Fridays was abruptly dropped because of the change in plans for this NJPW tour; maybe it’ll be resumed upon Valiente’s return.
CMLL’s made some changes to this week’s lineups:
Tuesday
Pegasso replaces Diamante
Stuka replaces Shocker in Guadalajara.
Friday
Mistico & Blue Panther replace Sombra & Shocker
Sombra replaces Marco in the main event
Sunday
Astral replaces Stukita
Starman replaces Diamante
Diamante appears to be back home; he was on the Arena Coliseo Monclova card on Monday, and will be on the Arena Olimpico Laguna anniversary show on Thursday. Whatever’s going on with Shocker continues to go on. (He was at the tourist bus launch last week, so he’s still physically around.) Marco missed Monday show and is just back from injury – this looks like the injury is probably back. Stukita’s problem might be being a rookie. Los Colisenos has said in the past there’s a union rule where rookies can’t be booked in back to back weeks, so that might have caught up to Stukita here.
In other but more obscure card news: Hijo del Pirata Morgan is off the tercera on Castillo del Terror. Veneno replaces him.
Haciendo la Lucha says the turnout for the Queretaro show was disappointing and the show wasn’t too great. (Full video of the Sin Cara/ADR match here, if that’s how you want to spend your time.) I’m not exactly sure what the level of attendance was, because elsewhere (MLW Radio), the same show was said to be sold out. WWE’s new house show set up with video screen cuts off a lot of a seats (though it makes the show look a lot more like a TV show), so it could’ve been a matter off nearly all the tickets out put on sale sold out but it didn’t look as full because the seats which weren’t put on sale. GDL was said to be bad, Mexico City looked good in pictures and Monterrey looks pretty full. The Mexico promoter of the WWE shows talked about wanting to increase the number of cities run, but they might be better off the other way, running the two strong cities.

Barbaro is champion. 1st? defense.
5) La Máscara, La Sombra, Súper Popular vs Euforia, Niebla Roja, Pierroth
Again, Barbaro and Fuego sounds like a fun match. Also, caveman and fire seem like natural enemies who later team up.
LEGEND (SAT) 11/16/2013 Arena Lopez Mateos
1) Centella Oriental & Seiya vs Striker & Tanathor
2) Baby Star, Dark Angel, Kairi Hoto vs Keira, Mystique, Starfire

5) Dos Caras Sr., Hijo De Dos Caras, Sicodélico Jr., Sicodelico Sr. vs Canek, Negro Navarro, Scorpio Jr., Villano IV
Card shuffled around (no Mil Mascaras.) Tag title match could be fun. Our favorite world traveling Canadian luchadora pops back up in Mexico in the segunda (and is maybe headed to Philadelphia soon?) Kairi Hoto is from the Stardom promotion Dark Angel works with in Japan.
