Molotov & Oro Jr. vs Akuma & Inquisidor: This seemed like it was a better opening match than usual, which may have just been good editing and not reality. Still, teamwork! Akuma looked better, Oro is still good, the other guys are what they are. Sound editors did a better job than usual to edit out the “RadioCMLL” mentions (though I’m not quite sure why they don’t want to know that program exists.)
Dark Angel, Estrellita, Goya Kong vs Amapola, La Comandante, La Seductora: The Amapola/Dark Angel section to start the match seemed like they were going to be the best part of the match, and totally turned out that way. There wasn’t anything horrible and they were enough to bring the average up, but the comeback in the third fall seemed short and somehow messed up, and the rest of the match was not particularly memorable. This was an okay TV match.
Atlantis, Diamante Azul, Shocker vs Gran Guerrero, Terrible, Último Guerrero: Just laying the ground work for trying the switch (and failing) later. Match was OK but the rivalry felt stronger in Sombra/Volador. This was a better match than that, but not more than guys doing their usual moves and a finish.
