Faby Apache & Jennifer Blake vs Mary Apache & Taya Valkyrie: Everyone looked a bit off here, not on the same page or pulling off moves crisply. That went all the way to the finish, where Taya couldn’t take Jennifer’s finish. They tried, it wasn’t working out well. Right finish, though.
Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Willie Mack vs AR Fox, Dr. Cerebro, Eterno: Great, though AR Fox’s neck may disagree. That was a brutal ending, but a really good match for six guys who probably don’t’ have a lot of experience working together. Higher than usual difficulty but it worked out. The rudo triple teaming spots were especially well done considering who was involved. The four guys in this who are not regular presences (yet) all had strong stretches in this match, making them all look like important visitors. They also did a better job of working in Niño without it seeming forced.
Cibernético & Cuervo vs Daga & el Hijo del Perro Aguayo in a super libre (no rules) match: Amazingly one sided brawl. Cibernético did get his comeback, but not until a couple minutes after the match was over (and Cuervo was on a backboard.) The brawl was crazy enough that eight minutes of it worked, and the crowd was partisan enough to not all mind the Perros completely dominating, but it’s unusual to see. It’s really nothing more than that brawl, but it worked for what it was supposed to be (except maybe Cibernético walking around all fine after the fact.) Daga and Perro is a combination AAA hasn’t done often, but it worked out well here.
