Bengala & Génesis vs Herodes Jr. & Inquisidor: Much too long for these guys, who are best experienced in low doses. The rookies really can’t do enough to fill the time Herodes seemed like he had bet someone he could get over just doing armbars, a losing bet. Genesis not much good with what he can do. Bengala looked the best.
Aereo, Fantasy, Shockercito vs Mercurio, Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Violencia: Truncated minis match that was fine for the time. Shockercito looked good and they made it clear they were headed to a Violencia/Shockercito issue even before they go to the finish. Mercurio would be a better luchador if he didn’t use piledrivers for finishers. On the other hand, I think it’d be fun if someone just started using tombstone piledriver as their finish to see if anyone would care. (That’s the problem with all the piledrivers; no one really cares when they’re done anymore.)
Diamante, Fuego, Hijo del Fantasma vs Arkángel de la Muerte, Namajague, Shigeo Okumura: cheap finish for a match which wasn’t really going anywhere. Formula bit with some extra dives at the end. Namajague carried the match for his team, in that his partners weren’t really in as much when it came to take the rudo offense. He’s still making the técnicos look good.
Marco Corleone, Máscara Dorada, Rush vs Euforia, Niebla Roja, Último Guerrero: Formula match more notable for how rushed it was than anything else. They were efficient with their time, but they didn’t have much of it. Niebla Roja fits in better with his group than Tiger does with his.
Kráneo, Mr. Águila, Psicosis vs Ángel de Oro, Shocker, Valiente for the Mexican National Trios Championship: A regular trios match. Nothing special, nothing particularly heated about the feud, not a lot the other four guys got to do showcase them. This is the least of the Invasors trios title matches and I’m not sold at all on this Aguila/Shocker feud.
